This is one of the biggest and strategically best placed refugios on the W trek. It is also an absolute hot mess. They have crammed people on top of each other. They arbitrarily assign you to a random dinner and breakfast time based on absolutely...More

I am trying to book the cabin. The options are Room 1 person and Room 2 person, with selector for quantity to the right of that. I am traveling with my wife but it looks like only 1 is available to select on the date that I want to stay there. Do I have to select 1 on the line that says Room (2 people) or do I have to put the amount of people staying? The cabin is not shared with anybody else right, you reserve the cabin to yourself. The price difference between the refugio and the cabins is only $50 so I thought I was doing something wrong. Thanks again.

Hello, I am looking to book a Los Cuernos camp from Fantastico Sur. I am having a difficult time just booking a wooden platform for our tent. We don't need meals. Did you have the same problem? Are you required to purchase meals from them if you want a wooden platform? Thanks!
