Me and my wife stayed overnight at the ranch after a days hike of the park. My travel agent arranged pickup and drop off. - The ranch / lodge is quite far from the park entrance - Great staff and meals - No wifi and electricity turns off in the night - Horse ride is very very enjoyable and TDP... Access to tercera barranca is bit unconfortable because of unpaved road. It was extremly peaceful. You can easly see Torres Del pain from your sit. You must take horse riding tour in the farm area which is very very nice. After 11 pm electricity will be shutted down. Room was good enough. If you are travelling with your rent car... More

Torres del Paine is so spectacular that it is not enough to make just a one day visit. So I chose to stay inside the park that would allow me comfort, traditional Chilean atmosphere, warmth, good food and excellent scenery 24 hours a day. Located near the Blue Lagoon (Laguna Amarga), the Estancia Tercera Barranca offered me everything I needed.... More

The views are overwhelmingly jaw-dropping from this estancia. We stayed 5 nights and experienced all weather there- a completely rainy day, windy days, and calm clear warm days. I wanted to stay a long time to ensure we would have at least a few clear days to see the mountain tops for photos, and that we did get. Joaquin greeted... More

This is a nice, but not great place with very nice staff and great meals. Unfortunately, you cannot cross the stream directly to the entrance of Torres Del Paine. It took us nearly 90 minutes each day over very rough gravel roads just to get to the edge of the park.

My husband and I spent three nights at the ranch a few weeks ago and all in all were very happy there. While it was not luxurious, it was very enjoyable. Yes, the prices are high, but it seems to cost less than other top-of-the-line ranches I read about. Given that the location is so remote, it is not surprising... More

Dinner (18000 pesos) and breakfast were pleasant, good thing as there are absolutely zero other options. Arrived tired after a day of poor roads made worse with an additional 12 km of lousy road (asking road workers when we felt we must certainly have missed something) in to Barranca. Had no idea how vey far out of Tierra del Paine... More

Although the place is a bit remote from the main road - it is definitely worth going. You can enjoy the view to the main mountains of the park, while staying in the comfortable rooms. The food is very tasty and homelike thanks to the chef Carmen!

This was by far our most expensive hotel of the trip, and also the worst. The heat shuts down during the frigid night, and opening the shades means inviting other guests to look right into your room. We had reserved a tour some weeks earlier, and gone to the office to confirm them days before our visit. Nevertheless, when we... More
