The hotel view from the lobby / restaurant is amazing. We stayed three nights. The staff in general is nice and friendly. Our room looked more like a college dorm and even smaller and NO view at all. Beds are small and mattress and pillows not very comfy. But here comes the best: I was poisoned with a "cordero magallanico"...

Rooms overlooking the mountains, glacier and Lago Grey studded with brilliantly blue icebergs. Hosteria Lago Grey is an iconic hotel in Patagonia, with first class accommodations, restaurant and lounge. This is a "bucket list" hotel when visiting Patagonia. Don't forget that your favorite single malt is available on the rocks (glacier ice!). Cheers!

Our superior rooms had a great view on the lake and the glacier in the distance. End of the good part. The staff at the restaurant are just awful. On arrival we decided to stay for dinner as it was late and there are no alternatives around. It was extremely overpriced and the waiter kept making funny faces about my...

The hotel is a sofisticated "mountain" hut located new Grey lake and has an exceptional view of the Paine massif. Accomodations are simple but new, clean and very well build. I stayed with two small children (4 and 7) and the room was large enough to accomodate us all (in two beds). Hotel´s restaurante is very good and an excellent...

Situated on Lago Grey, with glacier in the distance and under the imposing massif, this is a great location. The bland wooden exterior belies high standards inside and we had a lovely room with lake and mountain view and all-inclusive as long as you stuck to a list of local cocktails, wines and beers. Not hard to do and the...

We only stayed one night at Lago Grey and came just to do the boat trip out to the glacier. The service at reception was a little ordinary but otherwise, the hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic and we had a lovely, modern room with enormous windows overlooking the lake. We arrived in a nasty storm late at...

I purchased a ferry ticket across Lago Grey through Hotel Lago Grey Navegacion, and while waiting for the ferry I learned that they cancelled the lake crossing. As a result, I missed my connection after the ferry, had to arrange new accommodations, and lost money paid for the transfers, hotel and tours next day. Most importantly missed a whole day...

The nearest town is Puerto Natales which is about a 2 hour drive away and has the last petrol station and toilet..bit basic though. The road is mostly a rough gravel and bear this in mind when choosing your rental car as the going is a bit pot holey. The drive is worth it though and the views are spectacular....

The check-in was very friendly and someone even took our luggage to the room. The room itself was good, clean and tasteful but still simple. The dinner 3 course menu is overpriced so we went to the bar to have something to eat there as did many other guests. The service was extremely slow as there wasn't enough staff around...
