Few places are afforded views and surrounding landscape like Pounda Paou. Pelion is one of our favourite places in the world, an area that always reminds us of the west coast of Scotland but with guaranteed heat and lots more feta!!!!. Inspired by a fantastic experience we had here in 2004 we returned in 2014. Indeed we plan to return...

First of all - we love Greece and have had many happy holidays there, albeit on the Islands. We also have to save hard for our holidays and do a lot of research before we book. We don't have a large budget but having read all the wonderful reviews we thought Pounda Paou would be a special holiday for us....

We enjoyed 2 weeks at PP in June July '14. This is the first time that I have found every comment on TA to be factually accurate, what's interesting is that all that differentiates them are the writers' personal preferences. As others have inferred, if you appreciate large 'corporate'/4* hotels then PP is not for you. PP translates as 'Pau...

Greece as it was 20 years ago, timeless simplicity , peace and beauty, with mod cons. How to describe such a heavenly place, with butterflies and bats, the endless crickets and mystical mountains. It took our breathe away. We had the best panoramic view from room 2, to wake up to the mountains and the sea and the little boats...

I could never understand why there were so few reviews posted here!?..After spending two blissful weeks at Pounda Paou which is nestled on a hillside with terraces trailing down to a jetty where you can swim(it is stony),and your own little motorboat which was ours for 2 weeks. Our stay was complimented by an authentic selection of delicious, fresh, greek home cooked...

If I start by telling you that this trip was our 8th visit and that prior to coming here we were against the idea of going back to the same place twice, you will get the idea that it's something special. If you are looking for 5 star opulent luxury, then this is not for you. If you like the...

This holiday memories improve from the moment you leave! It is only when you are departing for the airport that you fully appreciate the sheer heaven you have experienced. When the only thing guests can can a bit stressed over is a bit more variety in the breakfast menu and improved grouting in the shower room , then you know...

This is really one of the best holidays you could hope for. The atmosphere at Pounda Poua is relaxed and informal and the place is a wonder - like a small village in itself - every apartment has its own 'private' terrace interconnected by winding little paths through the gardens - connecting the terraces with one another, the pool (great...

A great location, lovely views, good food, expensive wine and drinks. Very clean and friendly, the rooms differ in size but we had number 10 which although small was very peaceful, as previous reviews gardens and scenery superb. The only downside was the bathroom...very small and no shower curtain so the floor area was constantly wet (not much fun for...
