This place is often deemed to early in the Tiger Leaping Gorge hike to stay at, but people are missing out if they don't stay here. This place has the best Chinese food I've eaten in China (and I've spent over 5 weeks in China, so I've eaten a fair bit of it!). It was absolutely delicious, well priced and...

We didn't stay here, as we thought the stop here was too early for us to stay, but we stopped by for lunch. It was hands down the best food we had in Tiger Leaping Gorge so definitely make sure to make a pit stop. They have a cute setting, with a wall of corn that was rather Warhol -...

We enjoyed our stay at the Naxi Family Guesthouse. The welcome was warm and friendly with great food available. Prices seemed very reasonable. Free WIFI is also available for guests. We highly recommend this guesthouse - it was our favourite on the trail. As the location is so great, and there are so few in Yunnan, we decided to place...

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst taking our time to hike Tiger Leaping Gorge. The rooms are clean, with decent beds and our bathroom was all clean and tidy. one. Nice warms beds with electric blankets. The hot water for showers does take a while to come through (no baths). Really nice atmosphere, and very helpful owners (didn't test...

We left late from our trek on the first day so we decided to stay here for the night hit. We were so happy we did. We recharged here before the 28 bends with an awesome sleep and great food (large portions and reaonable prices). The staff are very friendly and will try and help you in any way they...

Our stay at the guest house was just perfect. The welcome was very friendly, the room was excellent and had a stunning view. Also the food was tasty and the prices moderate. I hope we can come back some time.

We stayed at Naxi Family guest house on a rainy evening after hiking. Naxi Family Guesthouse is set in a quaint little village with terraced fields built into the mountainside. We had a friend who was fluent in Chinese with us which was very helpful. The food we ate was exceptional. We read a review on here about the apple...

Keep in mind that this is a guesthouse in rural China. The bed is like a plank, there's not much toilet paper, and there's no heat. That said, this guesthouse sets itself apart in many ways. The rooms are spacious and clean. The shower area is well away from the toilet and sink. Towels and soap is provided. There is...

After reading so many wonderful reviews I was wondering if anyone had contact details (email address) or a website in order to book Naxi Family Guesthouse at Tiger Leaping Gorge? I am hoping to stay here in early July 2015. Thanks!

After walking the trail for a couple of hours I was welcomed with a warm cup of tea. I then checked in for the night, into a comfortable room, for a reasonable price. Food was also delicious and fairly priced. Impressive views from here, but I left in the morning to continue the Tiger Leaping Gorge trail. Even though the...
