Food quality was poor (both the chicken noodle soup and the stir fry) and so was the athmosphere in the large but slightly disordered hall. It was the least pleasant experience of all eateries we have been in TLG.

Great value and decent quality food on our 1 day trek to Walnut G "youth" hostel. Demanding but so worthwhile. Naxi sand which is worth a try and at 20Y it's great value. Enjoy the views over lunch then back to the amazing trek

I concur with the above answer. While everyone I saw at Tea Horse had a cell phone, there was no internet access or reception desk. Part of "the experience" is just showing up & asking for a room. And yes, if they were... More
