Only about 1 and 1/2 hours drive from central Mexico City (depending on traffic of course) is this lush, beautiful setting which we were shocked to find. The scenery is amazing. This is a great family vacation spot with plenty to do. We did not do any of the activities on the grounds as we were on a business trip....

Great place for a day trip from Mexico City. We were a big group of people with kids. There are plenty of activities such as shows, a petting zoo, a zip line, swimming pool. The restaurant offers a buffet with a good variety of food and there is also a museum. Everyone had a fun day!

The rooms are clean and ample. The restaurant was great - don't miss the buffets on the weekend. Jesus, one of the waiters, is exceptional! And I had the best facial ever (in the US or France) at their spa (I can't remember the name of the lovely esthetician). The grounds are large enough to not get bored yet small...

Beautiful hacienda, the childhood home of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Mexico's greatest poet. On the foothills of the two volcanoes, the views are spectacular. Lots of activities on site, with hiking, a zoo, etc. The on-site restaurant does the job, and the staff on the property is very attentive. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very well decorated and rooms have very nice views of the volcanoes. The restaurant serves good food and the amusement park has some great activities like ziplines and many animals you can feed (goats, cows, a camel, deer, pigs, sheep, ducks etc). I would say it is a great place to come with the family.

The rooms doesn't have opening windows. Nor even closets. The worst is the bad attitude of the staff. Restaurant close his doors at 10 pm, but since 9 pm they won't give you a slice of bread. Very bad attitude for a place could be nice. The labyrinth is the only attraction here, but you don't need to stay or...

Very polite staff and wonderfully manicured, spacious grounds. Large, clean room featured floor-to-ceiling windows for great view of the mountains. I can´t imagine a nicer place in town, but I have the following recommendations to make Panoaya nicer still: 1. Install ceiling fans to help cool the rooms. The large windows can permit a lot of solar energy to enter,...
