Family run inn with a great location just below the Covadonga basilica. Easy walk up to the entire complex. We stayed for 2 nights in a simple attic room with windows opening up to the view and a rushing river below. Very quiet location. The only downside is that the bed was what in the US we call a double size. Breakfast was simple but nice with some freshly made items.

Stayed during a recent cycling trip. Postive experience with one minor exception: 1. Beautiful rustic exterior - this fits perfectly with the area and gives the visitor the right feeling from the first glance; 2. Caring and responsive owners - small family operated hotel where the owner ensures your needs are heard and attended to. a. We had a 6am cycling start, our bikes were brought out to the reception and a box breakfast with fruit was waiting for us; b, Information about the area (sights, restaurants, buses) was quick and reliable. 3. Good quality rooms - while the hotel has a rustic air, the beds and the bedding is modern and all fixtures and fittings are up to date; 4. Tasty breakfast with good choices; 5. Excellent location - 10 minute walk to the Basilica and sanctuary. One tiny suggestion: the weather is very wet and a heated towel rail would have been appreciated. While it's clear that heating would be turned off with 26 degree temoeratures, it would have been good to have had an electric rail to dry our cycling clothes once washed. We have

Rooms are modest but clean, and during the day you can notice how close the road is (as well as the sanctuary’s bells). But the service is amazing with caring and lovely people here to help with any question you may have - and great tourists guide too. Breakfast is rich in quantity and quality too.

This place is cozy, confortable, beautiful, clean and with a great breakfast. The host is very nice and friendly, easy to talk to and she gave us great advise of where to go during the day. At the same time, it is very close to the trail to “Basilica de Santa Maria la Real de Covadonga.” If you are going to the lakes, this a great place to stay, since the bus stops to the top are near by. All in all a great place to relax, stay and rest.
