The owners Claire and Marc made us feel very welcome, even offering the use of their own garage to store our motorbike. All staff were very friendly and helpful The views are beautiful, on the edge of the lake with the chateau behind. The rooms are basic (very clean) and the bed is comfortable which is fine as the room... More

The beds were clean. That's the only positive. Everything else was poor, and the breakfasts were a joke, a few cornflakes and pastries, and the bowls and cutlery were dirty (and I mean dirty ) every day. Ate in the restaurant once and that was very poor also, would avoid and go elsewhere

I stayed here with some customers for an event we had. To be clear this is not a business hotel so I forgive the lack of desk space, plug points, slow wifi etc. Where this hotel excels is in the staff and in particular the owners. Claire and her husband are extremely welcoming, helpful and cheerful. Claire made our stay... More

We have stayed here regularly over the years and its a great location with very friendly and helpful owners and staff, the rooms are comfortable and clean, however its the restaurant that really makes it for this hotel, the food is excellent both in terms of quality and presentation and all at very reasonable prices.

Following camping we stayed here for 2 nights before heading home. Rooms quiet and comfortable if a little tired. Views of lake great. Town really quaint and château interesting. Restaurants expensive and other choices in town.

Stayed here for three nights in july 2015, combourg is a nice town and the market was great.Positives of my stay; staff was great, bed comfortable and nice location. Negatives: no wifi, dated rooms and really difficult access to room at top. on site was limited but plenty in nearby area.

We found this Logis to be very friendly and hospitable . English was well spoken and understood which is a rarity. Only the bedrooms with views overlooking the lake could be renovated and cheered up. ( the walls were painted a very dark color and the lighting was poor. ) The dinners were superb . Once the rooms are updated... More

As soon as we arrived, sweaty and tired the manageress showed us where to store our bicycles in a safe lock-up, check in was fast and friendly. Our room overlooked the lake (privately owned!). At about 60euro it was not bad, the room was comfy, good shower, TV. A good hotel with a nice bar....

Friendly, family-run hotel, which I have now visited three times as a base for cycling in Brittany. Comfortable rooms & more than adequate breakfasts for supporting a day's cycling. Dinners on the set menu provided choice & were tasty, but with the usual. feature in northern France of not including vegetables. Strange, when we spent all day cycling through countryside... More

Stayed for 4 days in October last year and again this year as part of a cycle group. Friendly staff, nice location, and town worth a stroll. They coped well with a large group of cyclists Demi pension. Excellent cycling terrain in the vicinity, not too flat, not to hilly. Rooms are clean and adequate but this is a traditional... More
