Used the Victoria when staying at the adjoining Travelodge and had an excellent breakfast. We decided to return from day out for the evening meal and werfe very pleased with the quality of the food both the carvery and each meal off the main menu. Size of the starters and mains meant that wed could not manage a sweet.Even better...

We (four of us)came to The Inn for the Sunday Carvery lunch prior to a musical event later that afternoon. We had not visited this establishment since new ownership last autumn so came with hope and an open mind. Firstly, the interior is much improved - spotless, very welcoming with a spacious and well laid out restaurant area. The staff/management...

A group of us went for a Sunday carvery and the staff were friendly and because it was busy they told us in advance how long to wait to get our meal (it was not a problem) as there were about 30 of us plus other customers when we had our meal it was worth the wait and the service...

Visted with the family for Sunday lunch. Was exceptionally busy but showed to our table in the bright sunny conservatory. It was a nice touch to receive a card from the landlords wishing us a happy Mother's Day ! Also each table had a vase filled with lovely smelling narcissi. The friendly waitress took our order then told us to...

The menu at the Victoria Inn is very varied and the quality of food is very good. Prices are reasonable and very good value. The service is excellent and the staff very friendly, overall a very pleasant eating experience.

The menu is uncomplicated and it is easy to find something for most people. The rump steak was excellent, as was all other food. The service was good and not too expensive, with good location and parking. Would recommend and will return.

Although the food was of a good standard, the turkey was try, so I didn't eat it. The vegetable selection was very good, although the roast potatoes were very salty for my taste buds. The service was pretty bad in all honesty. It took 20mins for a waitress to take our dessert orders, and that was after we had to...

We've been coming here fairly regularly for a few years now. It has always been good and now it has been taken over by new management it has improved. The new team have taken the place up a level. The main menu is similar to the old one but, in addition, their specials are really good and the ones we...
