We stayed here for two nights. The hotel has free parking. We were given a room with a lovely view however the bathroom had a smell. The hosts were very quick to address the problem and gave us a new room the following day (room 209) as the hotel was full on our first night. They also got someone to look at the issue before the next guests arrived. We had fantastic mountain views from both of our rooms. There was a lovely shower with many functions. There was no noticeable road noise, which is often an issue for us. The bed was large and very comfortable. The towels were soft. Very friendly hosts who speak various languages between them. They gave us good advice on how to order our walks for the day. There was a big variety of hot and cold breakfast options. The brown bread at breakfast was very tasty. You do have to choose a timeslot to go to breakfast so be sure to specify this the night before. Also you are given a sheet to tick what you would like for breakfast and pass it to the waitress on the day. They have a good system. The hotel is walking distance from Arenas de Cabrales where there are some good restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Arrived during COVID-19 crisis. Jim, the owner, was excellent in guiding us through the procedures to keep us safe. Our room was comfortable with a view of the mountains once the clouds cleared. Due to the COVID-19 event we had to change plans. Jim was very accommodating and we stayed for an extra few days. Jim was very knowledgeable and showed us some local and stunning walks, providing us with maps and transport to the start/finish points. There is off road parking of cars and motorbikes. I will definitely use this hotel again.

Second visit here so obviously I like it. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms immaculate, the location is perfect for all sorts of activities from sight seeing to some serious walking. But what I think sets the hotel above others is the personal touch. Get in the bar in the evening and you'll find out anything you need to know from Jim or his wife, amazing local knowledge. But must give a shout out to Ade. That young lady is everywhere at all times. This is a relaxed place to stay with some pretty expert local (and wider) knowledge.

The Hotel is just fantastic: Great views of the Picos and Torrecerredo, extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean room, delicious food (and good value) and a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Sort of felt like a movie. I would gladly return.

Nice room with fabulous views directly over the nearby mountains - really worth the trip alone. We travelled with Exodus on a walking holiday and could not have asked for better service or location. All meals, including our hearty packed lunches, were excellent and cleverly thought through to cater for all tastes. Nothing was too much bother for the staff from filling water bottles to providing wrapping material for additional walking snacks. The meal in the evening was superb and of a far higher quality than we expected. The bar and garden terrace with a view of the mountains were a lovely place for a pre-dinner drink. Overall, an excellent owner-operated hotel that knows and understands its clientele.
