Looking at others reviews I decided I really need to write one myself. Yes, rooms aren't super modern and luxurious but its Evisa - tiny sleepy village in Corsica, not Monaco! Price is very reasonable - breathtaking views, clean swimming pool, simply priceless fresh air and number of stars you see frankly crushes you. If you come to a place...

We were very lucky to have a room on the top floor with a large balcony from which you had fantastic views down the valley to the coast. Our room was large but very dated, no fans or air conditioning, but the bathroom had a bath which after a days walking was very welcome. The staff initially appeared a bit...

I'd love to give this charming hotel 5 stars. The owner, manager, staff and everyone were charming, helpful, lovely. The view is breathtaking: you'd seldom find a finer view from a poolside anywhere. Kitchen is good too, and the rooms are clean. But two things are wrong here. First, the hillside location means they've developed the hotel out on concrete...

This is an average hotel with spectacular views. Ask for a room in the back on the upper floor. (Friends told us that the downstairs pool-level rooms were dingy.) Our room was adequate and fairly comfortable, with a lot of closet space, but without any frills. The food was decent. The staff ranged from reasonably friendly to grudging. The Wi-Fi...

I definitely recommend this place, where we found a warm & friendly welcome, fascinating parrots in the bar, a great dinner (with a magical view), beautiful pool and garden, balcony with another magical view, and a rather tired room in need of refurbishing. The bathroom was basic but functional; there was some lovely traditional furniture, but the carpets, curtains and...

The only thing to recommend warmly here is the superb view from the back rooms. Its a pitty you have to enjoy it sitting in a cramped, unclean balcony, on chairs that leave white dust stains on your clothes. Reception wasn't very welcoming either, and off-season prices were quite high. Didn't eat there, so I can't say anything about the...

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a packaged self-guided walking trip. The hotel sits up the hill from the town (about a 5 minute walk), looking over the valley and down toward the sea. We had a room with a balcony and enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the view. The dining terrace also has a spectacular...

Whilst the hotel was adequate for the price we payed, I have given it a low rating for the rude and discourteous manner with which the hotel manager treated us immediately before we retired to bed. I suffered a sleepless night as a result. You won't have 'sweet dreams' in a place where you know you are going to be...

We stopped for a drink en route from Calacuccia to Porto and were so blown away by the view from the rear terrace that we stayed for lunch. The food was excellent; a goats' cheese omelette for myself and Corsican salad (tasty salad ingredients plus grilled rounds of goats' cheese) for my wife. We shared a perfectly grilled trout with...

A very unprofessional establishment. Beware of their old rooms! We are a tour operator who visited the hotel to establish its suitability for our tours. The owner was rushed and could not be bothered. On our return to our office the hotel was asking for a different deposit to that agreed on when we reserved rooms in person for our...
