Popped in for lunch and we were delighted with our choice of gammon, it was delicious. Only saw one member of staff, a very busy barman who seemed to be holding front of house single-handed. He did a magnificent job, amiable & efficient, and he made time to have a chat with everyone. It looks like the place itself has...

A lovely place with really lovely staff. I was impressed with the menu and enjoyed the home made meat pie. I would also recommend the burger. Both really good portions and very flavoursome. Altogether a very pleasant meal out.

We visited the Bay Horse having not been for a while and was very impressed to see that it had been completely renovated and decorated. It looks great! The food was also amazing. I had the cheese and leek tart which came with fresh veg and mashed potatoes. It was absolutely beautiful! Husband had beef Sunday roast which again was...

We have stayed here in the past but not since it changed hands. All I can say is what a difference. The rooms have been upgraded and most importantly they are spotlessly clean. We Stayed for three nights and would have been happy to stay for another one but unfortunately we had booked to stay that evening in Northallerton. We...

If you visit Masham you must try this lovely local pub and sample the food there. Good choice of gins too for any gin lovers! The meat is from a local butchers and as proved by the succulent flavour of the gammon I tried it is highly recommended. The pub also seems to be a favourite with the locals so...

We called at this lovely country pub while exploring Masham. We are so glad that we did. Scampi was perfectly cooked and earned an excellent from my husband and the fish was quite simply to die for. The handcut chips were absolutely beautiful and as they still had the skin on you could convince yourself, or at least try, that...

Had a lovely meal in the Bay Horse tonight with my partner. It's the first time we have been back after change of ownership and we will defiantly be back. Food was Great although was slightly slow getting to the table but I appreciate it was all homemade. I would much prefer to wait for good food, although if I...

We ate here last night for dinner & I'd definitely recommend it as a family friend pub. We had already been declined a table at another local pub where my parents were staying (The Black Swan, Fearby) as we wanted to eat at 7pm, & no children were allowed there beyond 7.30pm (we have a 10 month old baby). However...
