My husband and I stayed at the Kings Head Hotel a few years ago for our wedding anniversary, we had such a lovely time we decided to go back for our anniversary again this year. I looked on the website and found dinner, bed and breakfast for £105 on a Saturday night, so great value for money. As my husband...

Used to stay here frequently but due to 2 poor visits have not been here for quite a few months. Having read on Trip Advisor that there was a new manager who was turning things around we decided to try it again. When we went to check in the manager could not at first find our booking, but eventually we...

I stayed one night in a single occupancy room and it was very comfortable. The decor is a little dated but don't let that affect your decision to stay here, it's clean and comfortable. I ate in the bar and had very good fish and chips; breakfast the next morning was also good. Convenient parking to the front of the...

Honestly, I don't know how a place like this survives, which is a real shame as Masham is such a lovely Town. Avoided by the locals, probably because of the outrageous price for beer, mediocre food and at times confrontational service by a demoralised workforce. Avoid...

1 hour between arriving and receiving our food in the near empty restaurant. Waitress was overstretched as she was covering the bar whilst the manager ran the pub quiz. Food quality was average. We've frequented this place many times over the years, even stayed there. The underlying trend is; bar service and range of beers is good but the food...

One of my absolute favourite places I've ever had the good fortune to visit. The best thing about The Kings Head Hotel is most definitely the staff. You can see dedicated and determination from everyone who worked there. No doubt, five stars

We stayed here fir one night as part of my partners birthday weekend. Check in was without problems the lady on reception was very warm and welcoming, the perfect front of house person. We were assigned one of the rooms outside in the courtyard at the rear. Far enough away from the bars to not suffer from any noise issues....

Have just been to the Kings Head for Sunday lunch and was one of the worst experiences ever......having waited almost 40 minutes for the lunch to appear was greeted by a sub standard meal I would not feed to a dog... I had the belly pork ....no crackling and swimming in gravy already put on the plate...the veg was tasteless...

We stayed at the Kings Head as we were meeting friends for the weekend to go walking in the Yorkshire. Masham is a gorgeous village with two breweries, the Black Sheep Brewery and Theakston's brewery, unfortunately we dd not have time to visit the breweries but we did sample of a few of the ales on offer and personally I...

Just visited the hotel after booking another through last minute and then finding the hotel was shut down when I arrived. To be honest want expecting much for the price of £45 for the night. With all honesty I could not have been more wrong. Don't judge a hotel by it's price the place is beautiful in a quiet little...
