Interesting cause the same thing happened to us in June 2014 and we only spent one night at the hotel. Thought it was ok to leave extra money in room when we went to dinner. No safe in room I didn't discover the loss until after we had left hotel. Who goes into rooms in evening while guests are out? Maids?
