My friend and I traveled to Saint Lucia for a relaxing vacation. We chose to stay at the Inn on the Bay due to its high marks on Trip Advisor, its reasonable rates and it's beautiful location high on a hill overlooking Marigot Bay. The Inn owners, Norman and Louise, bent over backwards to accommodate our requests including replacing their...

If you are looking for an alternative to the traditional resort experience, this is your place from which to experience St. Lucia. This was our 5th time to the island but the first time we did not stay at a larger resort (previous Sandals and Jalousie/Sugar Beach visitors). We selected Inn on the Bay based on Trip Advisor reviews knowing...

We found The Inn on the internet. Requirements were:- to be peaceful, small, friendly and relaxing. A pool would be good but bars and restaurants not needed, local fare for us. The Inn ticked all of the boxes plus more. Email and phone contact before arrival was very efficient and Normand dealt with all enquiries regarding car hire and transport...

Normand is a fountainhead of knowledge of what to do and where to go to experience this beautiful island. And he willingly drives you up and down the steep hill to the bay - where all the restaurants are. Everyone in town knows "Mr. Normand". And Louise bakes delicious breads for breakfast. I highly recommend staying here if you don't...

Found by looking on the internet, this is a really simple, pleasant and restful place. At the Inn (in the American rather than the English sense) Normand and Louise provide a very well run and relaxing experience. From the outset we felt that our interests were understood and catered for. The itinerary and experiences that Normand suggested and arranged worked...

This is a 5-room B&B/Guest House perched high on the southern hill which marks the entrance to Marigot Bay. It's exceptional for its stunning views over the harbour to the north and east and to the sea and cliffs (and the sunsets) to the south and west. Exceptional too is the level of service, care and attention given to every...

We spent a week at the Inn on the Bay and it was exactly what we had hoped. Our past experience in the Caribbean was right on the beach; we barely moved from that spot and saw little of the island. Marigot Bay Beach is a small public beach located on a peninsula in the middle of the bay as shown in some of the photos on our website, only a 15 minute walk from The Inn.

The beach, although not very big (400 feet), is rather picturesque allowing you to see all the sailboats coming in and out the Bay. The water is clear and warm - great for snorkelling - and the only access is by a little ferry that runs all day long.

Free transportation from The Inn to the bay area (where our 8 restaurants are also located) and back to The Inn is available for the asking. It's part of the very personalized service we provide our guests.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Normand

Dear Angel,

Thanks for contacting us.

Since we're located on the top of a cliff, our clientele, for insurance purpose, must be more than 16 years old.

Louise and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very Happy New Year!

Thank you for your inquiry about The Inn On The Bay, our 5-room hotel overlooking Marigot Bay, the most beautiful bay in the Caribbean.

Louise and I would like to invite you to come and enjoy a personalized and fully customized "concierge-type" holiday experience where we will arrange, at your convenience, anything from dinner reservations to island adventure tours, excursions and activities (sailing, diving, snorkeling, horseback riding, zip lining, sightseeing, etc...).

With a warm and friendly ambiance, The Inn On The Bay is truly a different holiday experience: peaceful, quiet, relaxed, unfussy and unpretentious... far away from fashionable boutique hotels and anynomous all-inclusive tourist resorts.

A unique and off-the-beaten-path place to stay!

Each of our five comfortable guest rooms is appointed with high ceilings (for the wonderful light!), Wi-Fi, private bathroom, hair dryer, queen-size bed, mini-refrigerator, table & chairs, dresser and ceiling fan.

For more info, we invite you to visit our main web site or read what former guests had to say about us on TripAdvisor.

We do have availability (2 rooms) from April 17th (arrival date) to April 23rd (departure date) for a 6-night stay as requested.

Our daily rate per room (including breakfast) is US$265.00 plus local accommodation and service fees.

NOTE: Louise and I would be pleased to give you our 10% Internet Discount.

US$265.00/room/night X 2 rooms X 6 nights = US$3,180.00

Less 10% = US$318.00

Sub Total = US$2,862.00

Local accommodation and service fees = US$572.40

Total = US$3,434.40

Your reservation may be confirmed either by phone or email with the following credit card information: name, number and expiration date (Visa & Mastercard). 50% would be charged upon booking the balance being payable 45 days before your arrival.

We sincerely look forward to see you at The Inn On The Bay... our Caribbean dream come true.

Best regards,

Normand & Louise

The Inn On The Bay

P.S.: All our 8 restaurants (Doolittle’s, Chateau My’go, Masala Bay, The Rum Cave, The Baguette Shop, The Grill, The Pirate Bay and The Rainforest Hideaway) as well as the beach are located in the bay only a 15-minute walk from The Inn (maybe a little bit longer coming back!). But don’t worry if you don’t feel like walking. Free transportation from the bay to The Inn is available for the asking (we will even give you a cell phone upon your arrival so you can stay in touch with us!). It's part of the service we provide the guest in our own little hotel.

P.P.S.: Please find also listed below our guest's most popular activities. None of those activities need to be book in advance. Those activities are tailored for 2 persons (except for the Zipline/Tram) but other guests at The Inn might want to join you (if you agree) bringing down the cost per person. One thing for sure, you’ll not end up with a loud and crowded tour like the ones put in place by big resorts!

1) Water Taxi - Beach Hopping - Snorkeling & Swimming tour on Sugar Beach, Anse Chastanet & Anse Couchon. Great view of the Pitons.

2) Land Taxi/Car - South Tour: Botanical Garden, Diamond Fall (where Louise and I got married!) & Sulphur Baths. Sulphur Springs (bubbling volcano) & Mud Bath. Lunch @ Ladera Resort (Dasheen Restaurant). Good art boutique on site. Coubaril Estate (First inhabitant Village) and Tet Paul Trail are 2 more options.

3) Land taxi/Car or water taxi - North tour - Pigeon Point with its National Park & Rodney Bay (Reduit Beach) with the longest beach of St. Lucia.

4) Land taxi/Car - Visit of Castries. Lunch @ The Pink Plantation where Michelle Elliott (Louise and I's favourite artist on the island) has her studio. After lunch, stop at Caribelle Batik and at Eudovic Studio, a well knowned St. Lucia wood carver.

5) Land taxi/Car - Millet Trail - Natural inhabitat of the St. Lucia Parrot.... but for the real bird lovers, a day of bird watching with Adams Toussaint, one of the best naturalist guides from the Forestry Department, is the way to go!

6) Land Taxi/Car - St. Lucia Rum Distillery

7) Rainforest Tours: Ziplining or the Aerial Tram Gondolas -

8) Local fishing experience with Peter the Fisherman!

9) Land Taxi/Car or water taxi - Hiking Gros Pitons! What a view... but surely not for the faint of hearts!!! ;-) Plan an early start!

10) Half-day private sailing experience: a unique and magnificent way to enjoy The Pitons.

11) Public Transportation. Take the minibus with the "Lucians". A safe and cheap way to explore the North part of the Island (Castries / Reduit Beach / Pigeon Point ) for only a few US$/person!

12) ... unless you prefer to relax on our two terraces offering for one, a unique view of our beautiful Marigot Bay and, for the other, a fantastic look at our magnificent Caribbean Sunsets!

Please note also that other activities like biking, diving, whale watching, Horseback Riding, etc... can be organized upon request.

For further information, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me.
