Ideal for a budget friendly, short overnight stay with friends. Rooms are dated but clean and staff were friendly and welcoming. This is a functional hotel and a good place to use as a base for nights out in Porthcawl, Cardiff or Swansea.

Well, it serves a purpose. It has beds, bathrooms and a bar. It also has a gym. However, the beds are uncomfortable. The beer in the bar is very poor. The shower is about as effectual as standing outside in rain which isn't quite strong enough to bother putting a coat on for. There doesn't appear to be any form...

Hotel was OK but needs updating room we stayed in was on the top floor which felt more private, bath edge was too high I had to ask my fella to help me out of it! Room was paid for by my sister for my birthday I don't think I would've been happy to pay so much myself though

Very nice. Staff were great, thoroughly enjoyed will definitely return. The room was very basic, and the only downfall would be no lifts to the bedrooms, so people with no good mobility could not stay there.

First thing is first the staff are Brilliant, very friendly, very helpful and its they've given this place any extra star from me. The hotel part comes a clear second best to a very busy fitness club. The rooms are basic but clean. The noise from the fitness club ends around 8pm and starts around 6.30am. Very clear to me...

Room was clean but badly needed some renovation. The bedding had seen better days and pillows needed replacing. The bathroom was old fashioned even carpet up side of bath panel. You could here traffic doing their deliveries early in morning. The cooked breakfast was spare a child size portion.

Average friendly hotel. Stayed there after seeing a show at the grand pavilion. Reasonable nights sleep apart from the fitness class waking the whole hotel up at 6am with the thumping music and instructor shouting instructions grrr!! Avoid unless your there for the fitness classes.

The wife and I saught sanctuary here from a windy bay today. I enjoyed my curry. Mrs h had the chops which were not big and she was hungry afterwards. Local drunk in was mildly entertaining and annoying at the same time. Lovely staff and good WiFi. Drafty in booths.
