This is a great place to stay for many day trips to the coast and nearby villages. A peaceful quiet place with friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely outside areas to relax in. Would stay again if we ever go back to Provence area.

We wanted to get the feeling of the nature, villages and people of Provence. To stay at the Bastide de Templiers couldn't be more suitable. The garden, full of flowers, the little pond with running water give a special feeling of tranquility. The hosts, Harald and Joël, are wonderful, helpful and hospitable. The house and the surroundings are beautiful. Lushy...

W were booked in by friends and did not know what to expect when we arrived mid September. It turned out to be a near perfect time. The location is delightfully secluded and beautiful. Our hosts were consistently helpful, warm amd informative. The shared breakfasts with other guests were lively and gave us a great opportunity to improve our language...

"We stayed at Bastide De Templers in early October. Everything about the property was charming. We stayed in the guest apartment which was very nice and comfortable. Harold and Joel (sp?)were lovely host, providing information, guidance to things to do and see during our stay. We stayed three nights. We did a few side trips and hiked the lovely surroundings...

There are few places we have encountered which offer the degree of beauty, peace and tranquillity as this lovely B & B, situated in a hilly location a little away from, but within easy reach of, the main tourist centres of Provence. The welcome from Harald and Joel was warm and genuine, and we were greatly impressed by the care...

From the moment we walked along the sunny garden path, we knew we were on to a winner at La Bastide des Templiers. Joel and Harald are wonderful hosts and the house was very comfortable and charming. We had the Lavender room-a gite- and it was perfectly equipped for enjoying some 'at home' cooking with the delectable products from the...

We found La Bastide from the ever trusted Trip Advisor reviews. We had spent some time in Arles at a photographic congress, and wanted a few relaxing days in Provence before moving on. We have little to add the other reviews - the location, the welcome, the facilities and the ambiance were all perfect and just as others have described....

Homely and peaceful location...comfortable and carefully decorated room and bathroom. Set outside of the small town of Bras, this peaceful hideaway is a perfect base to explore the surrounding area and come back to peace and serenity at the end of the day. Charming long wooden breakfast table, veranda tables and chairs and a lounge area, with drinks, fridge, TV...

This place is a real escape. Tucked away up in the hills, surrounded by fields and vineyards, and accessible only by bumpy dirt road - upon arrival guests find themselves in a little oasis created by Harald and Joel, truly unlike any other spot. Your hosts are tri-lingual (at last count), gracious in the extreme and strike a good balance...
