Very nice get-away-from-it-all vacation! I'm already planning to return early next year. Staff very interested in providing us with what we wanted during out stay. They are so friendly! Most have worked there for years. I kayaked almost daily, visited the aquarium, snorkeled, visited Altun Ha and went on the resort's "San Pedro Slam" (Fun!) It was so nice connecting...

The other reviews are pretty accurate, but I would say that the pros FAR outweigh the cons of this resort. Contrary to some reviews, our room was comfortably cool with the use of the A/C and we were on the warmer side of the island in the overwater bungalows. I would suggest going for the oceanfront bungalows on the other...

A FIVE STAR facility!!! The food was great, the staff was great, and the location was beautiful! My husband and I wanted to get away from the cold and all the big city hassles. We wanted a quiet place to relax and soak up some sun! The resort exceeded our expectations and we plan to come back for a longer...

My family of five spend 7 days at St. George's Caye and we had a great time. We have been to many luxury all-inclusive resorts so we have a wide variety of hotels to compare this experience to. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this resort! But, like all places, there are pros and cons: Pros: -Remote Location: We...

We recently spent 5 days at St. George's Caye Resort in early January. We had a wonderful time. Garden Cabanas are very nice with comfortable beds and good showers. Resort is not quite as expansive and plush as the website makes it out to be, and is actually only a very small piece of this small island. However, it has...

Thank you for the positive comments - much appreciated. And thank you for your three constructive inputs - you deserve responses: 1) First ever comment I've heard or read about Jahnene not being the best hostess. She was embarrassed to see this as it is not in any way representative of her premium care and service. No excuse, just to...

My wife and I visited St. George's Caye Resort in early November of 2015 for the second leg of our honeymoon. We had an absolute blast and would not have changed a thing. We got certified for Scuba before going to Belize, which worked out well for us. For our first scuba trip, this was perfect. We dove with Jose...

St. George's Caye Resort was the perfect place to get some sun, relax, and experience Belize's barrier reef. The biggest decisions we faced each day were if we should wake up early enough for fry jacks (a delicious breakfast option) and whether to take the Hobie cat sailing again or keep reading. The property was extremely well taken care of;...

My partner and I stayed a week at St. George's Caye Resort and had a wonderful time. We went to go diving but also get a little remote. St. George's Caye while only 9 miles from Belize City is quite a calm and delightfully quiet. The dive masters were great, the other staff were fantastic, very nice, and all with...

12/20/15-12/27/15 Transportation to and from the resort: We were greeted outside of customs at the airport by someone holding a sign with our last name. Quick and informative drive from the airport to the boat. Beautiful boat ride to St. George’s Caye Lodging in Cabanas 12 and 8: We stayed in cabana 12, an ocean-facing cabana. It was both clean...

More rustic than expected (and how we perceived it to be from their website) but that worked for us. However, it was much more expensive than it should've been given the downsides - i assume to offset costs associated with being on a small island and having to import everything. Downsides were that upon arrival there were two old bars...

Thank you for sharing your perceptions. I apologize that the food was not to your liking - most guests rave about how consistently good and plentiful it is, both while they are with us and on other TripAdvisor reviews. We are trying to work more Belizean cuisine into our program, and in January we expanded our kitchen, which enabled us...
