Not too many guests when we stayed, so we had the choice of rooms in the old part cut into the hillside, or new part with views...the rooms in the old part were best. Views from the top most room wasn't all that good. You need to get up to the rooftop terrace for that. Breakfast was very, very good...

The Gazi Konagi is a wonderful blend of boutique hotel with modern amenities. Additionally, it is located in the old city of Mardin - with parking - giving you access to the day and nightlife. We stayed on the newer, second floor as we had separate beds. From a tour, we learned that this floor was added onto an original...

The hotel is located in the old city of Mardin and our stay was really lovely. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds and good linen. The staff are friendly and helpful and give more than is expected. The wifi is free in your room and works well and you get two bottles of free water...

Great Hotel for a good price. Clean and beautuful, with a big parking space (which in Mardin is a big plus). The owner and the staff are very nice and helpful. Best breakfast we had on our trip in that area. Highly recommended

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff were very helpful and had good English. Location was excellent in the old town, within walking distance of many sites. Room was large, clean, had AC and a fridge and fresh towels every day. Breakfast had excellent choices. WiFi in the room but this may have been because our room was right over...

We spent three nights in Mardin and can't speak highly enough about our accommodation. We had no issues during our stay at Gazi Konagi. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was amazing and offering on-site parking is priceless in the tiny streets of Mardin. Location is perfect as you're in the middle of the old town, in easy...

Staying at any hotel, one has to establish the purpose of the visit!, and the profile of the guest, and country of origin. These 3 criteria can bring about a very different appraisal of an accommodation enterprise. The old saying "you get what you pay for" applies really anywhere. One reviewer negatively reported about the room rate in the hight...

great rooms, right in the middle of town, very good breakfast. paid 120 lira's for a double room. we didn't think the monastery was very interesting. the town itself and the bazaar are very nice to seek out! also some very good restaurant and the museum was interesting.

This property offers a good experience overall, and could be even better with some small improvements. Beautiful old building with 1 metre thick walls, didn't even need the air conditioning even though it was 39 degrees (but there is a very solid AC system). Building has a lot of character. Good breakfast with a wider choice than is usual in...

“We stayed on the 3rd floor (there is an elevator to the 2nd and then stairs to the 3rd) We had a view. THe room was large/quiet/comfortable. The rooms on the 1rst floor were more exotic with nice rock work, etc.. If you want to make sure that you don't hear lobby noise, choose upstairs.”
