While the property was lovely and the rooms clean, the overall experience was disappointing. The gentleman who met us in the lobby to check in was cold and rather rude to us. We were tired from a day of traveling and inquired about eating onsite byt were curtly told our dietary restriction would not be accommodated. When we then politely...

Dear Sir, We are sorry if your stay in the Château de Fleurville has disappointed you. We would like anyway to give you some more information. First, at the check in, the maître d'hôtel, who had welcome you, explained you that our restaurant was always closed for lunch. For dinner, he explained you that there was no problem for accomodating...

Comfortable country hotel in small village with easy access to motorway. We were assigned a disabled access room on the ground floor (probably on account of us travelling with two small dogs); very comfortable room, although the lack of a door, and lack of privacy for the toilet is not acceptable for a hotel of this standard and price. No...

We stayed in this wonderful castle for a night and really like it a lot. The setting is beautiful with a well maintained garden, pool and tennis court. The castle itself has been done up with charm and the bedrooms are classic but with modern facilities and in line with what you would expect in such a place. We had...

My partner and I stayed with Pascal, the owner here for a weekend in late November. This is a beautiful property in the midst of a somewhat squalid little village in the Macon region of Bourgogne. The hotel itself is an old chateau, beautifully renovated with modern rooms that are spacious and comfortable with all mod cons. Unfortunately, the dining...

My partner and I stayed with Pascal at the Chateau de Fleurville for two nights during a brief visit to Bourgogne. The Chateau is, unfortunately, not in the most picturesque of locales, as a walled enclosure, the grounds of the Chateau itself are very pretty. Pascal is a warm, generous host who has a wealth of information about the surrounding...

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights during our 2 week biking trip in Burgundy. The room was small but the air conditioning worked well for 100 degree weather. We ate at the restaurant on our first night. The food was good but the menu was not al a carte and the set menu was expensive and too...

The Chateau de Fleurville is very impressive. We stayed there mid September on our way home from the south of France. We were disappointed however, that the room allocated to us was not in the main building, but at the side of it. The room was adequate with a nice bathroom. The surroundings were very well looked after and picturesque....

I wanted to go to Bourgogne and found this little chateau. It looked nice and cozy. We arrived around 4:30 as the chateau open the front gate after 4:00 so they can be ready. It was a nice entrance with a little driveway under big trees. We took our small luggage and got the reception where a Gentleman greeted us....
