I was really charmed arriving at the toko lodge. This is a very quiet place, very nice, large rooms and an amazing view. The pool area is rather small, so is the bar, but the site and relaxing environment compensates this completely. Friendly staff!

We stayed here for three nights after having spent several nights in Etosha. While the park accommodations in Etosha were not very good they at least are close to the animals. Now I normally do not write unfavorable reviews because any place can have a bad day and my one time stay might not accurately reflect what normally occurs at...

We had a booking for 2 days at the campsite. The campsite are really great! They have braai's with fire wood, a place to make fire in the evening with fire wood as well and a really nice sitting area. It is about 2-3 km from the lodges, restaurant and swimming pool. We had a car accident after the first...

We wished we could have stayed longer. How many times have we all said that? This certainly applies here. We have a history with this place. We were booked in in 2011 when we were advised they were closing for Christmas so had to hurriedly find an alternate (Grootberg). We were therefore reluctant to try again this trip but nevertheless...

Peacefull, quiet and good food. Add that to great hospitality a nice pool and spotless clean rooms with a view over a nice garden ( in a dessert environment ) and there you go "TOKO Lodge " we used it as a stop before entering Etosha on the western side and did not regret a second. Even could cross the...

We stayed at the Toko Lodge campsite in July 2016. This is our second visit there. Campsite 1 has wonderful Mopani Trees and an under-roof seating/catering area area. The site is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The showers and toilet are also clean and neat. Our night drive this time was a little disappointing but it was FREEZING cold. We...

Stayed at the Lodge 11/09/16 Had a great time. The lodge is perfect, and as its name suggests rustic in a beautiful setting. Ideal stop for western Etosha. However I can't pay a big enough compliment to the hospitality and friendliness of Nico our host. We had a puncture on the way up from Cape Cross and he rang our...

This lodge is easily accessible. We had first class service throughout our stay being met at our car upon arrival and assisted with our baggage. Our bedroom was spacious and had a lovely view. One could easily spend a few days here just relaxing. We took a tour of the local Himba village which was most interesting to visit -...
