Kamanjab itself has absolutely nothing to offer. Oppie Koppie is the Oases in this area. Delicious meals, Ice cold beverages. Very friendly and extremely helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. All fitted with air cons. Very comfortable stop over if you are on the to the Etosha national park. Do try the donkey cart township tour. Most fun to...

Kamajab has nothing to offer except a fuel station amd a few places to stop over for one night for those coming from or going to Etosha or Damaraland. Oppi Koppi rest camp is certainly a place that fullfills this need. Well maintained, large and comfortable chalets, good restaurant, swimming pool and all that for very reasonable prices. We had...

A nice place that is also used as a social hub for locals, which adds to the character. Worth visiting the rock engravings nearby. The surrounding farmland has elephant, lion and one of the few remaining free ranging giraffe populations on freehold land. Perhaps one of these days the place will become a destination.

Inside the village. Well managed camp with spacious, beautiful bungalows. Very good food. Attention, in the village there is nothing to do, only if you like "living village" it is nice to visit the Himba village 20 KM east ( you can buy the tickets cheaper at Oppi Koppi)

We were directed to one of the newly laid out camp sites with a shaded kitchen/dining area. The shared facilities feature some imaginative artwork & gardening has been carried out to enhance, not replace the native species. Good food from an extensive menu was served under the verandah & was much enhanced when we watched Genets & Porcupines coming for...

A short but sweet luncheon experience, efficient and friendly service, good food and a beautiful environment. If we did stay overnight, we'd expect it to be very good too. The pool was sparkling and refreshing to dip our feet in!

We asked the reception about the Jacob's Himba village which is nearby. They told us we have to buy a ticket and we have to buy it at the Rest Camp's reception. As we arrived to the Himba village the guide there was shocked how can it be that Oppi-Koppi Rest Camp charged us such a high price. They told...

Dear , I heard about this from our waiter Aili and immediately called the boss of the himba village. We have a deal with the himba village that if people sleep here we give them a discount of 200N$ per person and if they do not sleep here we charge them 300N$ per person. You did not overnight here which...

This property was shockingly nice considering the surrounding area. I wasn't expecting much, nor do I need much, but upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised. Great dinner, when the wifi works it works well, great rooms, nice owners and staff, lovely property. In the evening they leave scraps out for animals along a wall and you can enjoy viewing all...

Big, Spacious, Clean and Quiet. Only stay for one night. Dinner and breakfast was good. During dinner the children from nearby school put on a show for us. Also staff put some food on the retaining wall during the night and we got to set the civet cat and porcupine. If you love dogs it is a extra bonus

“The thatched units are best, and rooms facing south is cooler in summer seeing as there is no air-cons (but an evaporative fan is included) Great stop-over for visitors to the newly opened Galton Gate to Etosha's western wilderness area.”
