The villa is really spacious in reality and much larger than the photos indicated. I was concerned it may have been too cramp for 8 people, but it’s was perfectly big enough. The location of the villa is great. Literally a couple of mins walk to the marina which is really nice. This has a small supermarket that sells lots of British stuff. There is a pharmacy to which has some lovely staff. There are a few bars (the upper deck was our fave) cafés and restaurants. The marina also had a local market with the usual tat etc. It was a really pleasant place. If you want something more lively, Puerto del Carmen is a few miles down the road in a car.
There was no welcome pack on arrival so we had no idea what days the pool would be cleaned or what day they beds would be changed (which they never were), or if any cleaners would be attending. No idea what to do with the bin bags as there were no info on this and no local bins for all residents to use. Luckily we spotted the villa opposite leave theirs outside the gate and it just disappeared a few hours later - the management need to address this as we literally had no idea what to do or what to expect and even no instructions for appliances.
Bedrooms - All bedrooms were large enough. The main bedroom is to the right as you enter the villa which has an en suite with shower over bath. This has a king size bed and huge wardrobes and draws including a safe. There are a further two bedrooms further down the hall, one is a twin and the other is a double, again, all with huge wardrobes and drawers. The down stairs bedrooms in the annex has all the same furniture and bathroom. They were all clean on arrival however, there was a large stain on my daughters white bottom sheet in the twin room - the bedding had obviously been washed and wasn’t “used” but the stain was visible. There is only 1 pillow each on the beds and they are dreadful! - we asked the maintenance chap (that was contacted for a separate reason if we could have more, and he arranged this with the cleaners). Hair dryers in most bedrooms. Air con units in every room which were a good send. In the double bedroom there was a light fitting hanging down from the ceiling with wires exposed too and in other bedrooms the odd lightbulb was blown.
Living areas - there is one large sitting room with TV and Wi-Fi etc. It has 2 large leather sofas in which do not fit 8 people on. Even 6 would be tight but we hardly used them as we sat near the pool or outside. The Dining area only has 5 chairs and the table isn’t big enough for anymore than 6 and even then, that’s a squeeze, but there was a further dining table outside on the balcony/porch accessible from the living room which was big enough and had 8 seats. There is a further terraced area in the annex which is large but this has no seating area so is useless. No Air con in the living area.
Kitchen - spacious enough but not huge but has everything you need and the fridge freezer was big enough and worked well. There is a separate kitchen with fridge freezer in the downstairs annex but we used this only for drink/water storage. It is a completely usable separate kitchen but has no crockery or cooking equipment. There was no where near enough glasses for people to use for drinks and this is also the case for mugs. There are some tiny coffee cups though. We purchased some plastic ones for round the pool as we didn’t fancy taking glass outside. Bowls - none. There were 8 plates and a number of obscure sized plates and other crockery (sow which were unusable because there were cracked, but we made it work. As for cooking items, there was everything that you would need.
There was the odd ant issue in the kitchen so store things in the fridge as they never got in there. I’ve never been to a villa in Spain where ants weren’t an issue but this was VERY minor and they didn’t get into bedrooms etc. There is a dishwasher however, there are no visible settings on it and no instructions so we just hoped for the best after a bit of button bashing which worked a treat! Washing machine is small but worked fine. As for the iron and ironing board.
BBQ area - Disappointing to start with. The BBQ itself works fine and it has a sink and worktop area however, the tap didn’t work on this so we called the agent who sent a maintenance chap out to look at it. It took 2 of them all day to fix this, which had evidently been broken a while as the had to take doors off and pipes out to get it working, and even then it only had hot water on the mixer tap, not cold. The furniture, If you can call it that, was dreadful. Cheap plastic table and chairs 2 of which were completely unusable as they were broken when we arrived. These were replaced by maintenance the following day but this should have been checked prior to our arrival. There was also only 7 seats despite us being assure by email 2 days before arrival that there was enough seating for 8 people. A further chair fro the BBQ area was broken which we didn’t discover until a few days later and we didn’t want the faff of contacting the maintenance guy again so we just used one from the front of the villa.
Pool area - Spacious and a sun trap during the day. Clean.
No parasols!! So if you want shade you’ll have to use the one that was meant for the plastic furniture in the BBQ area like we did - again, the management company need to address this. There were only 7 sun beds. 2 of which were broken as they didn’t sit up. This was annoying as we had checked before arriving that there was enough items for 8 and we were assured there was - this will have been assumed by whoever replied to our email rather than checked. The maintenance chap replaced the bed and repaired the others but we had to contact them to arrange this - but they were very quick!
The pool was only attended once and not really cleaned very well in our 10day stay.
BE CAREFUL on the steps on the pool. The steel handles have split due to age and wear and tear and my 5 year old managed to cut his hand getting out of the pool on the sharp metal. They are also a little loose and don’t give you any confidence when getting in or out the pool - this is something that we will bring up with management company but they really do need replacing! The pool was great and was a blessing in the heat. Quite private too with nothing over looking. The shallowest end is 1.6m deep up-to over 2m from memory however, the inside has been painted over tiles and the white paint is cracking/flaking off which in some occasion could be found in the pool and felt on the bottom. There are plenty of outside taps with hosepipe fittings but not hosepipe! So you can’t clean down the pool area which would have been nice.
Pros - Spacious, great location, everything you need to spend time on holiday, private and clean and tidy.
Cons - No bedding change or towel change. We expected someone to come and change the beds like we have had done in every villa we have stayed in however, this time they just left a black bin liner outside the front door which we came across leaving to eat out one evening, with the name of the villa on it. We thought they may be returning to change it but the never did - Very odd. Pool not cleaned enough. Miss matched crockery. No glass wear. Tiny coffee cups and the odd mug. Old bbq furniture which needs replacing. No parasols. NO WELCOME PACK/INFO. You’re expected to attending fluent in telepathy here.
In summary, we had a great time and the location is superb. I have been a little picky with some things but they didn’t spoil our holiday. Great for the kids too. The management company can sort the little issues in no time making this an absolutely fantastic villa! This has potential to be a great villa and we loved our time here but it does need just a little more attention to detail by the management company as I think having linen dumped at the front door is a little unacceptable really.
I have been as honest as I could in this review and I would recommend the villa to families with the above issues addressed by management.

Tremendous accommodation.
Just me and my wife booked in for a week over my 60th birthday. We enjoyed rattling around in the cavernous building.
2 kitchens, massive lounge. Easy to get lost across the 2 floors, terraces and pool area.
Spotless.
Pool guys turned second day and did the pool. It went from clear to very clear.
We did get great weather for the week. So sat out by the pool for a few hours every day.
Calero Marina was also very good. Numerous cafes and restaurants and a ferry to Puerto del Carmen every hour or so during the day.
Plus a submarine trip on my birthday. Friday 13th.... Nothing went wrong.
Cannot speak highly enough of the villa or the location.
We will probably be back with all the family later this year. ☺

+1
This villa is shocking . Very big that’s the good side . BUT IS SO OLD DURTY AND NOT ENOUGH BEDDING FOR 8 people . The pool is so dirty . The pitchers of booking must have been 20 years old as this place is nothing like what you see . All Sofas all ripped and dirty and just not a nice villa. The area is stunning . The host and agent are shocking . They don’t care when you make a complaint . The kitchen was empty and had to ask for plates ect . And the agent are rude and not helpful alt all .
You don’t pay £4k for 10 days to have to complain and can’t use the villa . Please please don’t book this villa . There are many more stunning villas out there . Please don’t wast your money .
Over all the resort is fantastic it’s just the villa agent and host that is BAD . Avoid avoid avoid

Just back from a week's holiday. Lovely villa and excellent value. open plan living room, dining room and kitchen great for families. Nice flat screen tv and wifi which we were not expecting so great additions. Lovely view of sea and mountains from veranda. Lots of outside space. Walking distance to marina. Lots to do in area. Only minor improvement is new pillows for beds as some were hard but v easy to sort. My dad would have liked the pool a few degrees warmer but kids thought it was fab the best thing about the holiday they said, they went in at least twice a day!! My 4 yr old son wants to know if we can live there. Thanks for a lovely holiday

Not happy with a dirty villa, knew we had 8 people in the party but only had enough stuff for 6. Had to call maintenance at least 5/6 times whilst there. Dodgy wiring. Useless wifi. Things going missing or broken after housekeeping had been in. Heated pool not heated, it advising in the guest dos and don't stop put pool cover over at night. Only one problem, no pool cover. Was in the annex that had a kitchen with nothing in it and told not to use it. But upstairs kitchen when trying to cook for 8 as it is self catering which means that you should be able to cook for yourself the hob you could only use 3 out of the 4 rings and nothing else or you would trip all the electrics out. We were having to go up and down stairs to cook a meal as having to use the hob in the annex. Whole place needed a good clean as very dirty. We even found cockroaches in the annex. Not enough chairs or cutlery. Would never use this holiday provider again as they also let us down in September 2015. Agni Travel you have a lot to answer for.

If you want to stay in an overheated filthy cave then this is the place to go. Had to have maintenance out to provide the downstairs with lighting, fix the barely working fridge, remove the dirty mattress left in the hall and provide adequate towels. The pool was filthy i actually have a video of me removing the grime from the pool tiles which revealed they should have been white. Stopped using the pool as it was not clean enough to swim in and probably not safe. Advertised with two kitchens, but one had no cutlery, plates, pans etc. Filthy toilet brushes left in each bathroom and outside furniture covered in dirt. I have traveled many times to Lanzarote and have never had reason to complain but this property, despite its pretty pictures, is not as it seems and I would advise anyone not to stay there.

The villa is advertised to cater for eight people, but only if two of them sit on the floor and share cutlery. Only six chairs provided around a very small table.
Only one miniature pillow each , no spares, which is OK if you are a child.
Very dodgy wiring (especially in the main bathroom and the bedroom downstairs)(I could have done better with one eye closed and one hand tied behind my back).
The shower in the main en-suite was ok if you had chewing gum and sticky tape, as the outer hose was broken and the water would not get pass the kink in the pipe without it.
Catering for eight people was ok, IF, you cooked in stages, as if you had more than three rings on over half power, everything tripped. Even after reporting this to the maintenance, we were told it was our fault for trying to cook too much. though we did book for a SELF-CATERING holiday for EIGHT people.
It is not my fault that they cannot wire the fuses correctly, for a cooker to be used properly.
The dirt in the villa only got moved around and not moped up, and the toilets/bathrooms definitely needed a good clean.
The ' heated' pool was cold !!! so not sure if it was actually working as a 'Heated ' pool.
No pool cover to cover the pool at night, even thought the instructions said put the cover on at night. I would have done if I could have found it.
A Cadbury's cream egg disappeared and a pair of sunglasses fell apart whilst we were out for the day.

A beautiful villa, spoilt by lack of maintenance!! Our very first day!! A workman turned up. Drains blocked!! Four more times in the week we were there. Use the shower, toilet overflowed, use the toilet, sewage come up out of the plughole. The worse thing was, when phoned them they told us they KNEW there was a problem. Still there when we left, but it didn't stop them renting it out again. As a company,a total disgrace!!!!!k
