Our hotel is located in the city center, 3 minutes away from the train and buses station, near the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, the agency of technological innovation Neapolis, La Rambla, the town Hall Square and the old town area known as La Geltru. The beach is at 10 minutes walk. The hotel is open all year. It has 56 comfortable rooms; all equipped with bathroom, heating system, air conditioning, TV and free WiFi.

Stayed here for one night on my way back to Barcelona in Aug 22.
Room was absolutely fine. Lost a star due to the totally unhelpful receptionist when checking-in.
There’s no parking at the hotel and you are told to go to the station where you can park for free (although you have to find out where it is for yourself as there was no help forthcoming from the hotel).

This could be easily a 4 star hotel, #1 the best staff I have ever in 50 years of travel met. The three young ladies made my wife and I comfortable and special and handled our diabetic supplies which they refigerated and always had the time , with a smile to get our supplies. The three front desk receptionists were, Lia, Maria, and Pacqui. Lia was the desk mgr. and deserved the position, I have never seen someone work as hard on day shift as Lia. She never walked from A to B she hurried to please everyone , from Breakfast to reception , to getting special coffees. Running the bar , if I had a business with ten people like Lia I would be a multi millionaire today. Owners this young lady is a keeper, do what you can to keep her, someone is going to see her abilities and desires and will buy her services to run a major hotel. Next owners , please pay attention. Your renewal of the downstairs has been admirable , now you need to do something about the rooms and bathrooms in every room. They are very small , the cleaning staff has done a great job. the beds were fine , the linen was fine. The towels are poor quality but I would be happy to stay there again and because of the staff we will try to return.

Non-payment wireless and silent environment is good. 35 euro is one person, 25 euro is two people for double rooms.

Stayed couple of nights for business purpose so did not need anything more fancy. The reception looks quite ok but dont get deluded. Building is tatty, decadent, ugly, dirty, rundown and unwelcome.
Room is on the small side which did not bother us. What did terrified us was the couple of cockroaches we found in the bedroom on second night of staying. We were already very disappointed with the place but that was the end of it. Breakfast is free and you will understand why. No worth the money and neither the experience. Stay away if you care for cleanliness. It might fit many people purposes but definitely not mine. Only good thing is the location.

We had an amazing weekend at Gatell Hotel. The rooms were were clean and spacious. The staff was very polite and very helpful. I would specifically like to mention Sara and Noemi for being very attentive and helping us out with a smile. All together it was a great stay. 5 stars

I know this hotel only has a few stars but it's a dump! If you like shabby and rundown and enjoy listening to people in the adjoining room having sex, talking, watching tv and going to the toilet then this is the place for you? Customer service non existence when we asked for refund to go to another hotel. Thyroid refused then offered us another room where we were kept awake until 3.30am.

Clean hotel, reception area pleasant. Staff at reception helpful and provided map of area. Rooms very basic but clean. Wifi decent.
HoweverThankfully only one night stop over. Very noisy hotel. Walls paper thin and drainage system really loud throughout hotel.
We didn't expect much as knew it was low priced but you at least expect to be able to sleep. We don't mind basic rooms and basic amenities as long as clean which they were...but awful nights sleep which is a shame.

Absolutely awful, poor and expensive place. Not recommended in any way. In case of emergency, it will become a dangerous pkace too. Look at the picture above!

Stayed here for 3 nights recently. The hotel is in a very good location, near to the train station and not too far from both the beach and the Rambla where there are many restaurants. There is onsite parking for a fee but very limited so book in advance. The reception staff are lovely and very helpful. We did have breakfast one morning and it was fine and very convenient but we preferred a stroll to one of the many nearby cafe's serving delicious coffee and pastries which were very good value. The rooms are air conditioned and quite basic and the bathroom looks like it needs to be refurbished but the price was good, it was clean and in a great location. Will definitely consider staying here again if I return to Vilanova.

I visit to my cousin. I stayed in this hotel, middel class hotel but good decorated. The hotel is in the city centre, Railway station is close too. The personal are helpful but they can speak proper English.
