Amazing long beach ~~ We stayed 2N at seaview room , beach was just door step out. Room is basic and clean, mini fridge , TV, kettle , towel etc.. The snorkeling package was very nice. Enjoy the quiet beach and seafood dinner. Nothing much but stunning for me.
I had their resort package, which included ferry tickets and picking me up from jetty. Their arrangements are pretty organised and I think they just had their refurbished so all the furniture in the room was new and nice. Anyway, I would recommend it if you're a lazy person to plan everything during travelling, here will be a good choice!
I was having this very last minute short staycation when I decided to booked the stay on my way to Tioman Island (in ferry). They provided shuttle but have to booked in advance, but no worries as there will be a lot waiting for your at the Tekek Jetty Point. The journey from jetty took almost half an hour. Once arrived, there was a technical problem on the room type that I'd booked (the door cannot be lock from outside) and they couldn't let me know in advance since I made a last minute booking. Nevertheless, the owner I guess was so kind to provide me with comp room upgrade whereby my room was directly access to the sea. Since this vacation is to spend the whole day outside doing water sport activities, the room need to be secure. The environment was quiet and peaceful. If you are looking for a privacy and affordable place where you can relax from the stress of workload, I would suggest you to come here. Anyhow, thank you for the kind gesture as I really enjoyed my stay here.…
Basic accommodation chalet good for families or with friends. Bring mosquito repellents. Cafes closes between 3pm to 6/7pm. Have a late breakfast or early lunch then pack activities such as trekking, visit the 2 waterfalls etc. If you love nature, you will enjoy the stay.
The staff was very helpful. I made a booking on the day when I arrived in Tioman. The staff took the initiative to contact me shortly after I made the booking to advise me on how to get to Juara. They were also very proactive in helping me look for a solution when I couldn't pay for my accommodation via credit card, and also changed my rooms immediately when the toilet was leaking. · The facilities are clean but old. Not just the toilet leak on the 2nd night but also the air conditioner was creaking and sputtering so loudly that I couldn't sleep too on the 3rd night. The kitchen has not yet open when I arrived, so you got to get food elsewhere. They serve breakfast but it is 3 slices of toast with packets of jam and butter and one fried egg. I saw the menus in other resorts and they offer guests more variety. For the price of the place incl. breakfast I wouldnt say it is value for money at all. Also the rooms are made up of 2 halves of a wooden hut, so it is entirely not soundproof so privacy is really compromised here. You can go for it if you have enough people to book both rooms that make up the hut. I took a look at some other resorts and most of the rooms are made up of their own hut and privacy wouldn't be an issue in this case. Also mineral water isn't complimentary. I am happy to refill my bottles to reduce waste but I wish they have a sign in the room to indicate that. All in all, I would say that there are definitely more value for money options in Juara Beach to go for. This would be one of my last options if the better options out there are fully booked. Also they don't accept credit card so please bring enough cash when you go to pay. I wished they were more proactive in informing guests when they do their listing on Booking.com etc. Would have saved alot of trouble.…
We booked the more expensive room with a view directly over the beach and the bay. Good private view. We were there for 5 days. For the price range and offer of hotels along the beach, this is a good place; however, the owner/manager lacks warmth and hospitality. She could make the place more interesting if she smiled more and stopped counting her money. The restaurant food is good, but breakfast is very basic. During the 5 days, our room was not cleaned. We had to personally request new towels and toilet paper after the 3rd day. The beach and the water are really good. My recommendation to the management would be to install shading on the beach with more lounge chairs. It would also be great if they cleaned up the accumulated garbage in the mangrove behind the hammocks at the side. It may not be their property, but we sit right in front of it. If you are looking for adventure, the trek across the island to the village is 2 1/2 hours. Be prepared to sweat. The walk to the falls is also nice.…
I stayed here for 4 nights in one of the beach front rooms with my partner. Joanne arranged us transport from the west of the island and took great care of us during our stay. Both Joanne and her husband can’t do enough to make you feel welcome and they will do there best to help you arrange anything on the island. The views from the accommodation and restaurant are stunning. It’s peaceful and welcoming. I highly recommend it!
We spent 5 nights at the Juara Beach Resort. If you are looking for a very quiet place, that's it! We had the family room right on the beach, that was fantastic. The room is small and nothing special. The bathroom with no shower curtain so there's always water on the floor. However it gives you the Robinson Cruseau feeling. You have to ask for housekeeping. They are not coming regularely. However if they come they clean properly. The breakfast is sometimes buffet and sometimes à la carte. Don't be late because they might have run out of toast or butter or.... They make pancakes too, yammy! You just have to insist if you want something as they seem not so motivated at times! The beach is beautiful u can do nice walks. The water is clear and very warm. Some fish can be spottet, however no house reef! For snorkeling you have to book a trip. Its shallow water so perfect for children. Unfortunately there's rubbish between the resorts. It seems that nobody cares if it's not on his ground:-( Visit the turtle project at the very end of the beach. Approx. 25 min. walk. It's quite educational! All in all, I can recommend the place. …
This hotel is in the prime location of Juara beach and cleaner than other budget hotels nearby . This hotel provides nice deck to sit whole day, have exotic food and enjoy the scenic beauty of the ocean. Food quality was good. The cleanliness was moderate considering the fact that it is in the beach area and there will be always some sand and dust. Room was relatively small and not good for family, But when it comes to couple - mostly time spent in the beach and restaurant , room size does not really matter. Bathroom was well maintained and hotel provided tea/ coffee maker and other necessities ( towels , soap etc.) . Overall I found this hotel was good for staying few days in leisure.
We took the family room which had one king bed, one queen bed and one single bed. The stay was pleasant, hot water and water flow was ok. Though no electricity for few hours, but for us all others were okay.
