Really nice chalet, got a beach front chalet. Can listen to the sound of ocean. Really peaceful and the location also great. In front of a juara beach which is really nice. The Only down side is getting here will take approximately 1 hours via 4 wheel drive from Tekek jetty

My 2days 1night trip, 1st time to Pulau Tioman is indeed a great break from busy city. This family run chalet, which has 4chalets in one spot, is located right infront of the clean beach. No sandflies bites for me 😊( my sensitive skin will detech quite easily). Couple of good local food stalls around, but they closes approximately 10pm, open around 9am. Chalet owner arranged cab to pick us up from jeti to chalet, charged higher than the rate i got myself the next day. Well, i assumed the pick up was complimentary from chalet, but unfortunately too late to cancel or reject, as it was night time when we arrived after some hiccups at jeti that delayed my morning ferry to late evening. Transportation tips, to ride on any cab thats on the way to the same destination increases your negotiation power. 😊 the chalet is not near to jetty, too far for walking. Room was clean, just some spider web here and there. Owners are friendly. Great place to bring small group of friends/ family. Its possible to BBQ at the beach. 😊 …

I stayed at this chalet for 6 nights, upon arrival I was greeted by the owners mother, an amazing woman. The chalet is on Juara beach, pristine, stunning waters and lovely bed. I read, relaxed and ate at the best cafes just behind the chalet, it really was a perfect experience. Kamal, the owner is a kind, decent, a lovely person, you must book this chalet. I will be back!!!

This is my 2nd visit and The Mentawak Beach view here in Kampung Juara are just amazing, just check out the photo attached. Basic room with a queen size bed or two single beds with shower facilities. Quiet and away from the crowd. Two simple family run food and drink ATAP (Zinc) Roof House located just behind these chalets.

Basic accommadation located at quite side which is south part of juara beach.surrounded by local village.only four chalet avalaible give u more privacy.u can jump directly to beach from ur door.i had room104 which cost me rm70 is a basic fan room with private shower.mia cafe which serves best food in this area just a few step away.suitable for budget solo or couple traveller which prefer more privacy and quite.make sure u call for reservation because this small chalet is not selling in any website.

Mentawak Chalet is a very good budget accommodation and value for money ( Room with A/C RM 120 and without A/C RM 60 for pick session ). Please note that it is a budget accommodation and I am okay with it. The Best feature is it is located beachfront and the view is so great. You can rest, relax and go to swim :) The BEST restaurant of Mentawak MIA CAFE is only 100 meter from your room and If you want to go for great budget trip to tioman then JUARA BEACH IS THE BEST, and staying at MENTAK CHALET makes your stay meaningful considering great location Highly Recommended

The firat night i slept her, while coming back from dinner, i saw 2 Turtles just 2 metres far from my chalet's entrance... Amazing place, with Sunrise in front... You jump from the Chalet to the beach and into the water... Kamal, the Manager, speaks english and is kind and helpful... Prices are reasonable... extremely recommended...
