Hi Sarah, Yes there is a kiddies pool situated at the top of the main building (beside the water slide) I'm not sure if there was one at the other block (quiet pool). To my knowledge the pools are temperature regulated so it should be fine all year round. Not to sure about upgrading. I booked through Tompson and stayed in 2 rooms. We moved from the 1st because there was a small leak in the air con. But both rooms were fine. Alan
