The view is amazing, the staff always ready to help, the food also very good, we really appreciate to be able to come here during pandemic time, hotel is really trying to keep everyone safe, I saw some comments with bad reviews and I can say that this hotel CARES, they listening and improving them work :)
Very nice hotel with very good location and stunning views. The quality of food was really good. The staff was helphul and friendly. The only one negative thing that they not offer any food for 7 months baby.
Enjoyed a few days away at this beautiful hotel. Perfectly situated overlooking rock pools, the cliffs of Los Gigantes and an uninterrupted view of the sea, stretching to La Gomera. We had a corner room on the fourth floor with a hot tub and two balconies. Robes and slippers were a nice touch and complimentary toiletries were provided too. Recyclable water bottles were also available and guests are encouraged to refill them at the pool bar. The room was modern and bright with black-out curtains and comfortable beds, sunbeds are also provided on the balcony. It was so perfect, private and peaceful, we didn't want to leave the room!! We were all-inclusive and it was simply perfection. Nothing was too much trouble and it was one of the best run restaurants/hotels during the pandemic that we've stayed in. Sanitiser was everywhere, it was spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble. The staff are so helpful, everyone from the cleaners, technical team, reception to the waiters, chefs and bar staff, each member of staff wore a smile and always had a friendly hello. The hotel itself is compact and the location is beautiful. Plenty of walks nearby and local bars and restaurants too. You can hire beach towels for a €12 deposit. Due to the pandemic, the wellness centre was temporarily closed, as was the Theatre Bar and the bar next to the main restaurant. But there was nightly entertainment at the pool bar and they're happy for you to take drinks back to the room. The pool bar also serves amazing cocktails and a range of meals/sandwiches made to order, included in the all-inclusive deal. If you're not all-inclusive, food and drink is reasonably priced. The pool area is stunning too, with secluded sunbathing areas and comfortable furniture. All the public bathrooms were immaculate. The food was outstanding, always hot, lots of choices from meats, fish, fruits, salads and vegetables to delicious desserts. The waiting staff were attentive, courteous and professional. Parking is a little tricky, but we used the secure garage, for a small additional fee. My only criticism would be that I struggled to figure out how the hot tub and electric sun blind worked. It would be useful to have some instructions in the room or on the Barcelo app. But that's being very picky, as the reception staff were so happy to help! Just cannot find fault. Well done, Barcelo. Very, very impressed. We'll be back!…
A quality hotel in a fabulous location.. We had the most relaxed and enjoyable time.. Liked · Everything was QUALITY.. The covid safe buffet style food was excellent.. The room with hot tub was AMAZING.. The views throughout the hotel and in the room were stunning.. Every member of staff was so friendly, helpful and efficient.. It was a brilliant holiday.. We will go back to this hotel.. The nearest to a downside - Street car parking in the area was very very limited, but the hotel had secure parking at a reasonable rate..
On arrival we were allocated room 254 with a jacuzzi bath on the terrace ,3 meters or less from a fence and a public footpath with a seat on the path directly behind the bath We requested a room change as there was no privacy but the reception declined saying no other rooms available. Most other rooms had curtains or screens to use for privacy and this should be standard despite the one next to us remaining vacant the two nights we were there . We were never offered an exchange despite staff stating it would happen. We tried the Jacuzzi but we felt like exhibits in a zoo with people standing at the fence looking in, shouting and staring, waving and some asking to come in. This thoroughly ruined our trip away ,this is the second time of staying in the hotel , but due to the intransigence and general dismissive and unhelpful attitude of reception staff we will most likely and reluctantly not stay here again. The good point was a card and a bottle of Cava and a piece of cake left for my wifes birthday…
