We booked a room which has direct access to the garden which also comes with two huge private sun beds. ( treat for our 36th wedding anniversary).
The hotel is maintained to a very high standard, as were the beautiful gardens with many different fruit trees, and a lovely pool.
As the title says in a very quiet location, which a car is preferable for exploring.
The only minor grumble would be the towels were very thin.

Great hotel, quiet, extremely clean and with a first class service. The owner is very nice and all the team treat us ā€œas kingsā€. We will come back in two weeks to enjoy this resort that was unknown for us.
The pool is in beautiful garden where you can relax in a hammockā€¦lovely

We have just returned from 8 nights at Villa Erina. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the service is first class. The rooms and hotel grounds are immaculate and Romeo and his family that run the hotel cannot do enough for you. Make sure you also visit the beach club Romeos where you will be looked after just as well with great food. We would strongly recommend this hotel.

A beautiful small and very personal hotel, in a very quiet area. Just returned after a four day break staying at Villa Erina. The hotel was easy to find, with good signposts. It is a ten minute walk down hill to the beach, 20 minutes to the main bars/restaurants. Although the owner of the hotel runs a great beach bar/restaurant - which i would totally recommend. This was our first stay in a small hotel, which was so peaceful. Most days we had the whole garden and pool to ourselves - it felt like we had hired a fantastic villa and had this all to our selves !!! Our room was 003, which was a ground floor and had a lovely corner terrace - again prefect (although quite a few ants in our room, but hey!). Breakfast was cooked to order and fantastic fresh fruit !! lovely staff and perfect weather, just want we were after - thank you Romeo and your lovely staff for looking after us !.

Just back from spending five days at this charming traditional hotel. It's an hour from Malaga Airport and five minutes drive from Castilla de la Duquesa. It's also a 25 minute walk to the beach.

The hotel is in a very tranquil spot, just right for a little chilling out break. It is absolutely spotless, as are the well manicured gardens. There is not a weed or dead leaf in sight! We had a superior room with terrace and this opened up on to the lovely garden and two very comfortable sunbeds. It felt like our own villa. The continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful and we found the price of staying very cheap in comparison to other hotels.

The hotel owner, Romeo, has a beach bar and he will give you ten per cent discount off any food there.

We did hire a car but used a taxi to get into Duquesa Port every night - around 8 Euros.

A special mention to all the staff. Everyone was polite and went out of their way to do anything for you. A great stay and we will return next May.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that every picture found on the website was a true and accurate depiction of the hotel through its every angle. The service and charm of the hotel right from the staff welcoming you to the chimney sitting imprints you with a feeling of home. If you were to design your own private cosy hotel to greet your friends, family and tourists visiting your country, you'd design Erina Hotel to the dot. I highly recommend this luxurious yet very thoughtfully priced hotel to anyone visiting the area.

A beautiful family home has been converted to become a most delightful bed and breakfast hotel with an immaculately maintained garden and swimming pool. It is run by the owners themselves who could not be more friendly or more helpful ā€“ and the breakfast is excellent. They also run a beach Restaurant (Chiringuito) and Pizzeria ideal for seafood and local dishes. The beach is only a few minutes away by car, sun beds and shades are available and the water is wonderfully clean.

The Villa Erina is a fantastic place to stay for relaxation in a beautiful setting. My partner and I were made to feel very welcome by the owners, Romeo and Erina, and they were extremely friendly and accommodating.

The small hotel is very well decorated with a beautiful garden. It felt very secluded, although we were still within easy walking distance of the beach and other amenities. We also had the pool all to ourselves which was lovely. Our room was a decent size, very clean and tastefully decorated.

You can choose what time you want breakfast and the spread will be out ready for you. I chose a continental breakfast (fresh croissants, fruit salad, cereal, toast and orange juice) and they also made eggs and bacon for my husband.

Romeo also has a churringuito nearby where you can have dinner and drinks. The food is tasty and again, the service is fantastic.

Although the hotel lacks some amenities you would find in some hotels, eg a fridge in the room, spa etc, you will not find such lovely, personal service anywhere else which, for us, made the stay special.

Thank you for a great weekend!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two nights whilst completing on the purchase of an apartment. The hotel has a modern contemporary feel whilst still retaining old charm. The bedroom was decorated to a very high standard with a sizeable bathroom. The location is secluded and private whilst still in easy reach of the beach and local amenities. Would have no hesitation in
recommending this hotel where the family will do everything to make your stay a memorable one.

How near are you to the beach and Porto Duquessa?
Answer from Lesley F
Chesterfield, United Kingdom16 contributions10 helpful votes
Hi,a very short drive, just a few minutes from both the port and beach, however, not an easy walk. The road up to the hotel is steep, especially on a hot day and there is a very busy road to cross, which means you can't cross directly over it at the nearest point. I would strongly suggest a car if you are staying in this area and hotel, to make the most of your holiday. Will make life much easier.
