Stayed here for a couple of nights on a walking trip. Alex, not only speaks excellent English, but seems to have a telepathic knowledge of where his guests are and what they need, but materialises with offers of help as if my magic! The hotel was clean and the staff very welcoming. The breakfast array was replenished and refreshed constantly...

We stayed here for 2 nights while on a walking holiday. We were given a very warm welcome by Alex who spoke excellent English. We stayed in a standard room which was perfectly adequate for our needs and had a beautiful view across the valley to the hills. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a good...

Although on a walking holiday, I arrived here by taxi without my husband who was walking! I was immediately offered coffee and I thought I would sit in the lounge as I was rather early for checking-in. As luck would have it, our suite at the top of the garden was ready so two lovely ladies took our cases and...

Stayed in May, hotel is very clean with pleasant rooms, breakfast simple but won't leave you wanting. Our host Alex, was very friendly & extremely helpful, with tips on where & where not to go. When we visited not all restaurants in the village were open, so a bit of a walk to dine in the evening if not using...

Stayed for 2 nights as part of a walking tour of La Gomera and were very impressed. Alex was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautiful with lots of polished wood and homely touches. Breakfasts were delicious. All the rooms have names - we stayed in "vinatico" which was a lovely suite with a shower over a (quite short)...

We did not stay here, just visited the place. From what we saw we can recommend it to people who love to stay in a quiet, rural accomodation in beautiful, mountaineous scenery. Hermigua is a lovely village, and Ibo Alfaro is located on a steep hill overlooking the valley and the ocean. The building is well kept, gardens are just...

We stayed here recently for 6 nights on a walking holiday. The hotel is in the small town of Hermigua, set in a stunningly beautiful valley surrounded by high cliffs and lush green peaks. The rooms are simple, but very comfortable and pristinely clean. Alex runs the hotel with a mixture of friendliness and precision that is really very charming....
