Not good, arrived at the venue, strange welcome from staff, went to room, awful , smelt of stale , mildew, the bedding appeared very off white and to add to it the previous occupants half glass of beer was still on the side table !!!...More

We have yet again had a superb meal at this very friendly pub. The gardens are looking great, plenty of seating amongst the flowers...and very friendly and chatty service!! Very strongly recommended. The prices, particularly the Senior Citizens menu is very tasty and well presented.

i and my son stopped over here for one night. the pub is full of olde world charm, the gardens are lovely. the room was clean but a bit dated (tv and bath for example). dinner was good pub food and reasonably priced.
