We stayed a night in a budget twin room. Was basic but very clean and beds very comfortable. Lovely log fire in the cosy bar, welcoming staff and delicious bar meal. Food and room good value. Short drive to Oban.

Just back from a 2 night break from this hotel. Accommodation was clean and tidy, stayed in one of the rooms with balcony, room was small and shower poor, upside bed was super comfy, but I don't think it is worth £100 per night. Other than that I can't fault the hotel, the staff are super friendly and rhudi the...

My husband and I eat here often. The food is excellent, and the hosts, Rhudi and Susan are second to none. There is a welcoming log fire for your comfort, and the view from the conservatory is outstanding.there is also a pensioners price list and portion size which is very accomodating for some..please try..You will not be disappointed.

I stayed for two nights in the spring, with my two young children, and we were very happy with the accommodations - comfortable and clean. The food was very good and the staff friendly and accommodating. The hotel is nicely located for walks near the water, for visits to Oban, the Sealife Sanctuary and Dunstaffnage Castle.

There was nobody at the reception when we arrived, so guided by the notice at the reception desk I went to the restaurant to find a member of staff. I eventually found somebody to check us in, however we waited another 10 minutes for her to come to the reception. No 'sorry', no explanation, no manners really. As we entered...

I stayed in this hotel for two nights during business trip. It's very nice place, in picturesque location, very nice staff and delicious food. The hotel room was clean and well kept. It was very cold these days and the room did not heat up properly, but there was additional portable heater and additional blankets in the room to cope...

Had a one night stay in this good value Hotel - we ate in the restaurant, the food was excellent together with stunning views out onto the Loch, & the friendly staff make it a great overnight spot. Only downside I m afraid our electric shower was really poor - it the guys were to take this 'small ' criticism...

Friendly hotel, with beautiful views, bedroom and facilities where very comfortable, staff where very helpful, older building needing updating, but, rooms where well appointed and beds where comfortable. We stayed in the room which was noted as being over the kitchen freezers and 'could be noisy' according to the hotel we found a slight humming noise, which to us was no...

We used this hotel as a stop over while travelling between Skye and Stirling. The location is very convenient to Oban, which is worth a visit, but I wouldn't stay in the city. Our room was on the top floor with a beautiful view of the river; there is a circular stair going up two flights which is difficult to...

He also showed us to our room, the personal touch! Some of the 5 star hotels don't have this amazing customer service. Room had an ocean view and...
