We felt comfortable from the minute we arrived. Welcoming and hospitable staff. A lovely situation overlooking a river which comes in from the sea. It was cloudy when we arrived but it didn't spoil things. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant overlooking the river again. After a good nights sleep in a lovely bed we went down to a...

A comfortable place to stay. They do not have an elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage. The staff on duty in the evening were very courteous. We arrived late, after a long journey and they kept the kitchen open and ensured that we had dinner. Didnt rush us through our meal. However, the next morning we came down...

Great hotel decor is dated and our shower was very small but the staff were very friendly and helpful great as its located just outside of the centre which is great. The view from the restaurant is brilliant.

My wife and I have used this hotel many times over the years, and under the present management it has been revitalised and brought back to its former glory. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and some have breathtaking views out over the sea loch, while the restaurant offer is consistently good. The hotel is a great location for Oban...

Great room with splendid view and it' s size spoilt us for our other stays. The food was great with lots of variety. All the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere in the evenings was very good. We had a lovely stay and intend to return.

Sorry forgot the room number might have been no 4 but what a view was great to watch the tide running out past the boats. We went for a walk along a footpath around the little airport in the evening and it was a beautiful stroll. Rooms warm comfortable and clean. Staff stayed pretty much in the background, service was...

Even though this lovely hotel is owned by my dad and lovely stepmum, I love this hotel! Every time I come over for a (family) visit, the food is great and so is the room. I have spent my holidays in different rooms, and all I can say is that they were just perfect. Every room is different, and the...

The room was exactly what you want in a hotel room - clean and comfortable with all the amenities working as expected. Shower was...

Just had three days here. In a lochside location the views wonderful. Rooms are clean and bright. Dinner menu is varied and the food is great, beautifully presented, and the chef is happy to make a slight variation to a dish if it is possible. Breakfasts are also very good. Susan's scrambled eggs should be tried at least once. I...

Fabulous lunch beautifully served outdoors on the terrace. Nothing too much trouble for the owners and staff. A breath of fresh air to find a place like this tucked away so close to Oban. The hotel is beautifully situated overlooking The Falls of Lora with numerous outdoor activities on the doorstep. Also very handy for ferry connection from Oban.
