Returned to this venue once again and for good reason . Good accommodation ,good breakfast, great location and a warm friendly welcome. Great walks and outdoor pursuits to be had locally with a few accommodating hostelries nearby . Great time!

Wonderful location with views across the Welsh countryside. Denis and Ann are a lovely couple and made us feel really welcome. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast too - I can't find fault. The local pub served great food as well (the Grapes Hotel in Maentwrog). Would definitely revisit.

We stayed in the family room for two nights in July for graduation. It was a lovely room with the most comfortable beds. The views were also spectacular. Ann and Dennis made the best breakfast with loads of variety and were happy to have a chat with you. We also arrived so late and Ann was still waiting up for...

Breakfast was fantastic...

We arrived in the afternoon at this beautiful place and were greeted by Ann. She showed us the room and the place and then served us coffee and tea and a plate of biscuits. Denis arrived then after his cycle ride and made us feel even more welcome. Ann booked us in for food at the Grapes Hotel and we...

We were fortunate enough to spend another 3 days at Tal-y-Bont with Denis and Ann. This really is a 'home away from home'. We had a different room this time and it was well appointed with an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and there was an excellent selection of food to cater for every taste. Thank you to Denis...

I booked this place for an overnight stay in Snowdonia during summer holidays. Denis, Ann and Albert the black lab were extremely accommodating - the breakfast was fantastic, they suggested walking routes and even gave us a lift down to the pub for dinner and a few beers. The rooms were in exceptional condition, the beds were very comfy and...

We and our two girls (10 & 13) visited Zip-World and had a delightful stay with Dennis and Ann! They (and Arthur the elderly black Lab) made us feel so welcome, with tea and biscuits, soft beds, wood-burning stove, stunning views, directions to the pub and a brilliant breakfast. Tal-y-Bont feels like a home we'd all like to have and...
