This s a lovely hostel on the beach. The breakfast was very good and cheap. As with many hostels there was no hot water, but otherwise the rooms were clean and comfortable. There is not much to do in the town but the turtle conservation park nearby is definitely worth a visit

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful, super nice to have the pool and chaise lounges to relax around, and we loved the hamacas. Recommend the Restaurant y Bar La Cuevo, super 10/10 seafood

Booking showed aircon, daily room service, wifi and restaurant. Did not get a room with aircon, no room servicing, no wifi for the three nights I was there. Greetings TA-ers: My bride and I spent two night during the Nicaraguan Independence Day celebrations and it was a good choice. We enjoy the Popoyo area but the lodging options there were either full, too expensive, or full of partiers for my taste. Las Hamacas has every (basic) thing you could want and at a more economical nightly rate than...

visiting El Astillero, the harbour , the horses and the village.. and looking for a drink we arrived at hostal Hamacas where they received us very friendly. The place is basic but very nice , small buildings in a great garden and swimmingpool and a BBQ. For back packers a great place to stay!

Hamacas is the inly decent place to stay if you are going to Astillero. It is a bit expensive compared to other places in Nicaragua, especially because there is no internet. A pool is available and the owner of the hotel will help you with everything, if anything else needed, Mario is the most kind staff member available.
