We had stayed at this property before and found that capital improvements were lacking over several years making it appear run-down and unkept. HOWEVER, this review addresses their evening buffet which on Christmas Eve exceeded all expectations. The menu was diverse, staff incredibly attentive to the level you felt you were home with family. A definate to-be place for dinner.

Old facilities, yet warm ambience. Food is good and caring staff. More than expected for the price. Located near town, but far enough in order to be quiet and resting. This hotel is more than enough for a night or two if you are looking forward to enjoy what Jarabacoa has to offer.

Very rustic hotel in the middle of the country. Not the easiest place to find or get to, but if you are into central country activities, this is a reasonable hotel for you. Rooms are ok, but not very well lit, beds are old and uncomfortable. Mosquitoes are a part of the routine in your room if you do not...

We stayed here for a couple of nights and, despite the fairly warm welcome, it has been a rather underwhelming experience, especially considering that it cost us in the region of US$85. The hotel is tired, and not exceedingly clean - looked like the room and corridors' floors hadn't been swept. The first offer was for a room that had...

We stayed here just before climbing Pico Duarte and just afterward. The spacious grounds are well suited to larger groups, with a large open garden, pool, and bar near the pool. The restaurant serves buffet when more guests are present, or a la carte from a basic menu other nights. The hotel style is a bit dated and not inspiring,...

This Hotel has some very great qualities. It starts with their staff. Very nice, helpful, and kind. Hotel Pinar Dorado which is a Km outside of Jarabacoa is much like the town. They are both quiet, clean. The meals are included, and the food was very good. The hispanic menu was very appetizing. (Alcoholic drinks are not included.) The town...
