Another super stay at Le Relais du Petit Saint Bernard, Willy Arpin and his familiy go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome and appreciated, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel has a marvellous ambience, great rooms with amazing views, south facing rooms ahve the best views along the Haut Tarentaise valley overlooked by Mont Pourri....

This was my second visit to the Relais and it's lost it's family run charm. The room was fine, clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good, with a nice selection of local produce and home made jams. The family were present at breakfast and this was noticeable in the attentive service. The bar however is unwelcoming and the staff...

Amazing little mountain hotel. we visited for the mid-July Trail run hosted in La Rosière. very convenient location across from a large parking. nice room, north rooms are facing the mountain, south rooms have balcony with a view (but the road). not a luxury hotel but exactly what we needed for 100€ for 2 adults including half board (3 course...

Great beer and service in this traditional mountain relais. We end up spending far too much time here every year! They even have a basket and pulley system above each table. Lower it and place you gloves and hats inside then pull them up out of your way. Nice touch. Loos are spot on and clean. Order the Mont Blanc...

How hard is it to find a non cheese fondue. Well very it seems. This was the only place that did meat fondue in oil rather than cheese. So much meat and really good quality. 21€ each plus wine but it was the best I have eaten. Highly recommend. Good atmosphere with spontaneous singing from the locals. Not football chants....

If your going to La Roisere and you like burgers you have got to try out theirs! Trust me I had the burger with bacon on (the bottom one on the menu). It was homemade with homemade source, cheese and bacon and it made we want to go back every day for another. Honestly you need to try them. Its...

We used this restaurant everyday as our lunch stop. We stumbled in on day 1 of our holiday and found the owners to be genuinely cheerful and happy. The cafe has a real authentic charm and quirky touches like hanging baskets to store your wet gloves/hats in. Food and service were always excellent and were always delivered by staff that...

Was intending to camp on the way through from Italy to the UK, but due to the rain we had to search for a hotel on foot. The owner (who is a real character!) soon sorted us out with a family room with a fantastic view out of the front of the hotel. Dinner at the hotel was superb, one...

From my very first email enquiry the owner Willy Arpin was extremely helpful and friendly. Situated right next to one of the main lifts you can be first up the slopes and ski back to a table on the terrace for lunch. I recommend the soup which comes in a huge tureen complete with ladle, croutons an cheese to sprinkle...
