We have been to this Tenuta three times in the past three years as a weekend staycation (we live in Florence) and really enjoy it here. It is very close to Firenze Signa train station past Malmantile. So perfect place for tourists that want to visit Florence but want the peace and quiet of the countryside. (you can leave car... The location is very nice, with a nice garden and sweeming pool, good position for holiday in Tuscany - only 20 min by car from Florence - the rooms very nice, large and clean, the breakfast reach, various, with fresh and traditional products. The food is excellent, italian traditional cuisine. I highly recommend this location for holiday to Tuscany. By... More

We stayed in Trifoglio apartment. Needs comfortable seats for 4 people. Helpful staff. The restaurant food was a bit pricey for the quality but there are other restaurants within 20 minutes. Nice and clean and a lovely swimming pool. Mosquito screens mean you can have a nice cool breeze in the evening. On-site wine tasting of the estate Chianti and... More

We very much enjoyed our stay at San Vito. San Vito offers a variety of appartments in different buildings of the Tanuta (which basically means, it was a farm before it was transformed in appartments/hotel). Every appartment has a kitchen - but also you find a nice restaurant with good, traditional, local food at San Vito. The pool area has... More

We were recommended http://www.agriturismo.it by an Italian friend, whom suggested trying to get the real flavour of tuscany rather than staying in a hotel. We read the reviews on Tenuta San Vito prior to booking and decided it was worth the risk based on its location which was ideal for us seeking 5 days in Tuscany and planning to visits... More

We stayed here as a large group of 14, each sharing rooms. There was a large kitchen and living room for group meals as well as a wonderful restaurant about a 5 minute walk along the vineyards. Very lovely. The bathrooms were small but the showers were good and everything worked. Very quaint and such a beautiful landscape. They also... More

Enjoy walks in the beautiful Tuscan hills, lay by the pool with a book, watch the distant city lights in the evening, be mesmerised by the sound of the cikadas, see the variety of vinyards, feel the warm evening breeze, experience daily life and careful work in the wine and food producing area, cool down with a swim, take lazy... Beautiful surroundings with the vines and olive trees. Nice, spacious apartment close to the restaurant (great food and wine) and swimming pool. Clean and really lovely furnished. We loved it! You must have a car, but then it is really easy to take the train in to Florence from Lastra a Signa, a small town just ten minutes from San... More

Some reviews are so blatantly negatively biased it makes one feel the urge to rectify! Here is my opinion. I love Tenuta San Vito in Fior di Selva and I'm NOT the owner. Now, what's the point in deciding to stay in a country estate and then complaining about its remote location? There's plenty of hotels in noisy and polluted... More

We tried to make most of our trip to Tenuto, but its remote location, mosqiuto infestation, and out of date facilities made it quite hard to enjoy ourselves. We had hoped to be able to walk to a village which was too far away, and we had to walk quite far to reach the swimming pool, which was rather quiet... More

“It was out in the country/vineyard....it was a very peaceful and quiet area all around. I would go there again. There was an outdoor pool but we were there in March/2012, so it was not open. No fitness center, much too rustic! Lots of walking, though!”
