Sadly this B&B is changing hands and this is the last week for Sandra to work her magic. Everything was top notch and we enjoyed out two night stay on this pretty but small Isle of Barra. I like the filling out of a breakfast sheet which makes selections easy for both parties. We were in the upstairs double which...

Stayed at Airds for three nights at the start of our traversal of the Western Isles. The location (like virtually everywhere on the Outer Hebrides) was beautiful, our room was spacious and comfortable, and our breakfasts were tasty and ample! Sandra was very welcoming, and very helpful with advice for ourselves and other guests. Set a VERY high standard for...

We had had a few days on Mull and taken the 7-hour ferry trip to Barra. The person who hired us a car led us to Airds guest house where Sandra welcomed us. Airds is in a beautifully deserted spot with other houses dotted about at least 100 metres apart. No traffic noise of course; the only main road on...

We only stayed at Airds for one night while we were on Barra but Sandra made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was of a very high standard. We would definitely return.

Really friendly place well situated for exploring Barra and close to good restaurant. Very comfortable room with lots of nice touches and good bathroom. Breakfast menu varied and included lighter options which was appreciated. Great place to stay.

Our second visit to Airds (which obviously means something!) and we enjoyed it just as much as we did 4 years ago. Barra is a very special place, and Sandra's hospitality is exceptional. The house is comfortable, with a great TV lounge and a dining room with views over the sea-loch. We had the spacious upstairs room. Sandra works hard...

We stayed here for a couple of nights in June. The B&B is in a great location and is perfect in every way. The rooms are spotlessly clean and a good size, the breakfasts are good, and the beds are comfy. Sandra is the perfect host - always there when you need her, full of information and always finding time...

We were given a very friendly welcome by our hostess Sandra. The room was a good size as was the ensuite. There was lots of storage including a worktop on which was the kettle and TV. The beds were very comfortable. In the morning, breakfast was of a high standard. We stayed a couple of days and Sandra was very...
