We stayed here on our first night in Valle de Guadalupe as part of a wine tasting tour. We arrived there direct from arriving in San Diego and straight down to the San Ysidro border crossing where we were met by our local Mexican recommended driver Alejandro Flores who was our driver for our stay in the area and highly recommend. The accommodations sit amongst a beautiful garden with grapes and pomegranates growing there in the heart of the Valle de Guadalupe winery area. The room was very sympatheticly designed with a large room and a huge bathroom with rainfall shower. Breakfast was and had traditional Mexican style cuisine which was lovely. At one point during our breakfast a tiny humming bird hovered drinking from the water feature which was amazing to see. The staff Mine, Memo and Maia were very attentive and even made a delicious glass of sangria using their own locally produced wine. They spoke very little English but somehow we soldiered through. Considering some of the accommodation in the area can exceed £330 it offered amazing value for money and highly recommended. As part of the stay they offer a free wine tasting session at their local vineyard which we thoroughly enjoyed the following morning. They show you their cellar and explain the wine production methods.

We had a GREAT stay at Casa Emiliana a few weeks ago... The staff was very welcoming and nice, hotel was perfectly appointed and very clean, and it was very centrally located to all of the wineries and restaurants in the Valle.
In addition, the breakfast was very tasty and the staff really goes above and beyond in order to make sure that you're taken care of and feel at home!!!

The place is amazing and the staff is so courteous and friendly! You feel right at home I highly recommend this place if you want to rest and relax! They have personnel available to guest round the clock Its very convenient! They also provide with daily homemade breakfast for an additional cost but it's totally worth it

The place is nice but they don't think at all about what their client wants, the larger room is very spacious and has queen bed instead of king size and the shower is a joke, three drops come out of the shower, the toilet seems for children, it is extremely small and there is nowhere to put things for the shower having enough space, breakfast is very limited. It is sad when you see a place that is very nice and that a lot of money was invested in it but they do not make the decisions thinking about the client but about themselves. It's very sad.

Very good accommodation. Clean. Serving amazing freshly cooked breakfast. After the breakfast one of the girls made us amazing refreshing sangria which was really nice. All people who served us were very polite and friendly and despite they didn’t speak good English, they tried hard to make us happy and they did. Special shout out to Mine, Memo and Maia!
The one thing is that the towels are bit too well worn and big ironing board would be helpful. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for your hospitality.

This was my second stay at Casa Emiliano and it was perfect again! The rooms are clean and well-appointed. The host was very helpful with directions and recommendations for wine tasting. I recommend this small hotel to anyone visiting the beautiful Valle de Guadalupe.

The facilities very nice. Good service
But the very, very bad watering can was reported from day one and it's still the same.
No water comes out rather it comes out hours to bathe you take triple or more since you can not even rinse with how little water comes out
The very small bed
For such a wide room
The only good thing about the bathroom is the tissues and the toilet roll. Since the toilet 🚽 super uncomfortable

We attended a wedding at a winery in Valle de Guadalupe and needed a place to stay nearby for one night. Our reservation by email went smoothly and we received an email requesting a 50% deposit one week prior to our stay. A telephone call was answered by a friendly staff member fluent in english. We received a confirmation email for our deposit while still on the phone.
Casa Emiliana is about 1.5 hors south of the US/Mexico border. I forgot to change my GPS which was set to avoid tolls so our car trip was a bit longer and not quite as direct. I recommend using the toll road $6 dollars accepted - which we did on our return.
We were greeted by the very friendly manager, offered sangrias and were quickly checked in and shown out room. The rooms, and the entire B&B is brand new, super clean and looks great. The pictures on their website are accurate. Our room had excellent air conditioning, and decent WiFi - enough for email amd browsing but not enough for video streaming - about 1 mbit/sec.
The following morning we enjoyed a complimentary continental+ breakfast, wonderful breads, omelets, coffee etc. We reached the border by noon and proceeded to inch forward in line. It took us 5 hours to reach the border checkpoint and be waved through. Allow lots of time to cross back into the US. The estimated wait times posted by the Customs and Border Protection folks were very inaccurate. This was in sharp contrast to driving into Mexico - not even a stop - we just drove across and kept driving.
We had not visited Baja CA in many years and were frankly a bit nervous given some of the press reports. During our stay at Casa Emiliana and throughout the trip we felt very safe and had nothing but positive experiences with the friendly and helpful people we met.
If you want to visit the wine country in Valle de Guadalupe or just want a place away from the crowds in Ensenada, Casa Emiliana is a wonderful B&B.

This place is tiny yet beautiful, cozy and clean; and the staff is really really nice and helpful. We traveled by car from Las Vegas and we got there fairly late, but they made sure someone would be there to welcome us either way. Always grateful for this.
The first night we had to be accommodated in a room with one king bed (we were 3 adults and 1 child) but they were awesome enough to provide us with extra blankets, pillows and a cot. Fortunately me and my child are tiny and slept super comfy in it!
The next day we were moved to a double king bed room that beyond cozy and pretty. We were happy! Too bad we were there during rainy days but we would have loved to use the fire pit area which was right outside our room! <3
The breakfast was great and the staff made us feel right at home!
If there's something that could improve, it would be the hot water stability in the shower, but hey.. I'm Mexican.. I know how the hot water availability fluctuates and that is by no means the B&B's fault.
Amazing otherwise tho! Would recommend to anyone.

Great spot, it was near our destination. Clean room, friendly staff. A little noisy due to proximity to main street. Overall good experience and would recommend as long as you do not mind a little highway noise. Homemade breakfast was outstanding.
