My wife and I have just returned from a two night stay in this hotel. We had room 6 with plenty of space and a lower lounge section. If you want a room with modern decorations and furniture, Straight walls and square doors perfectly fitted and no creeks in floorboards you best not book. But if you want to spend... More

A welcoming fire greets every patron, who is then escorted to the lounge for drinks and menu choices. The timber beamed building is a joy throughout, with places for both large parties and intimate diners. The food was top class and my fish the freshest I have tasted in a long time. Prices were reasonable and great value for such... More

Stayed two nights on recommendation of friends we were visiting nearby. Really pleased with the whole stay. Ate in the restaurant both nights and couldn't fault it for quality and value. Really friendly staff. Wouldn't hesitate to go again.

Great location in Frodsham everything within walking distance. From the outside it looks old world. Inside uts a bit of a tardis with more rooms than you would think from the outside. Our room was tired and it needs a bit of tlc.clean but we did have a very noisy neighbour but that is no fault of the hotel. Breakfast... More

We have just returned from a one night stay and were kept awake all night by the noise from the kitchen below. We were put in room 8 and the noise from something like a refrigeration unit or a fan was beyond a joke. Having the windows open or closed made absolutely no difference and the constant hum meant we... More

I stayed just one night at the Old Hall Hotel, which is in the centre of Frodsham. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast was really good and my room was clean and tidy. There is also car park on site, but you have a very sharp corner to get round but that will also depend on the car your... More

This hotel is pleasant but nothing special. Person on reception on arrival had no idea and got the room wrong mainly because the key had a scratched out 1 and someone had got it confused with 17 and then this caused problems in checking out which made us very late. Just do something about the number on the key! The... More

The hotel hall hotel hotel poses a first challenge and this is entering the free car park. You have to drive under the hotel and negotiate a tight turn watching both sides of the car. Tight but possible for a large car. Reception and welcome experience is good. Rooms are old worldly but with modern facilities. Beds comfortable and room... More
