I stayed here in January - the weather was great, the resort is in a great location and there are heaps of restaurants and bars a short stroll away. Chaweng is a busy beach but you feel like you are in your own private oasis if you stay in one of the bungalows away from the beach. Onsite spa was...

Great location makes for a great holiday. You can walk to bars, restaurants and endless shops as they are right outside your hotel. Rooms are ground level with balconies looking onto tropical gardens. Modern bathrooms big enough for 2 people, not those pokey little ensuites where you have to turn sideways to shut the door. Make sure to ask for...

This is our 2nd trip to Samui as we fell in love with it the first time. During our 1st trip we stayed at a 3 stars hotel, this time we tried 4 stars as we did not plan to do anything except just relax and enjoy ourselves as it was our joint-birthday celebration. First of all, the hotel was...

We stayed in this hotel for five nights in early February. It is located in the heart of Chaweng beach, minutes away from the bars and restaurants. It is right on the beautiful beach. Check in was quick and easy. We had asked for a second floor room and the hotel provided us with a nice end room on the...

Stayed 7 nights here in March 12. the staff were excelent and the location great. We stayed in delux room and it was comfortable. Slight noise problem with Arkbar which is near by and went to about 2.00am and you could hear slight noise but not enough to ruin stay. The main problem was eastern Europeans that are in the...

We stayed at Baan Chaweng for two nights in Feb 2012. The hotel and facilities are excellent, the rooms are spacious, clean and the food and beach/pool area are great. However, the sunbeds were taken by 7am by the huge number of germans that were here, the hotel caters mainly for visitors from Germany. The location is the problem, very,...

We were told to expect 4 stars but in fact it was 2 to 3 stars. The bungalow they showed us at first was awful: very small and doom and unclean with VERY old furniture. The second room was a standard room on the second floor near reception - it was much bigger, had a balcony, so we chose that...

My girlfriend and I stayed here in Jan 2012 and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is located very close to the nightlife but far enough to get a nights sleep. If your craving McDonalds or Burger King its only a 2 min walk away. The superior rooms have everything you need and are very spacious with access to a...
