Stayed at The Wave for a couple of nights. Room was good for the price however there are a few things which I wouldn't recommend. One of our beds were just pieces of wood and a mattress on top. I enjoyed my stay at the Wave. It was in a good location, a nice sized room and a great food and drink menu. The staff were very friendly and there were lots of maps and flyers around which really helped when planning our time in koh samui.

Stayed here in December 2013, really basic just a bed and shower, would def stay here again, if your out most of the day its just a place to sleep, its safe with finger print security and has good wi-fi and air con. Just been on a long journey from Chiangmai, tired we just wanted a room. Stay one night and can safely say I wouldn't do it again. Secruity however was exceptional, finger print entry! Stopped into this place for an English breakfast. Can't comment on the rooms or anything but everything in the breakfast seemed microwaved with the toast as the exception. Wasn't happy paying 140baht for what we recieved but didn't want to cause a fuss. Just ate the beans and toast and got out. Wouldn't recommend for an English breakfast.

The Wave Samui is a hostel with a very friendly and helpful staff. The two owners are English (I suppose) and the rest of the personnel is Thai and they were all really nice to me and my 3 friends when we were their guests. The double-beds in the hostel rooms we had were unfortunately not really comfortable but okay... More

Does what it says on the tin!! Hotel side is just the job as a cheaper option.Plenty of choice food wise at reasonable prices.Bar serving local and other drinks.Staff always helpful with ideas on what to do and where to go
