If you are planning to visit Blue Mountains in peak season, this Motel can help you on your budget. It is typically like any other Motels which I would recommend for a one or two night stay. There are coffee shops ,Gas station and few stores near by within 2-3 kms. The Blue Mountains Village is however around 10 kms...

We spent two nights there with four people (56, 26, 24, 19 year old) to enjoy the beautiful sunny days over the family day weekend. Very friendly service, the rooms and bathrooms were clean and the beds actually quite comfortable. And in walking distance from many local restaurants.

We have stayed at Penny's several times when we ski at Blue Mountain. It is the perfect place to crash after a day of skiing. Rooms are small, clean and the bathroom is refurbished. Everything works. There is a microwave, frig and they will give you an electric kettle. This all yo need and the price is great. Thornbury has...

Young friendly couple, clean linens, room relatively clean. Soap, but no shampoo, no Kleenex provided in any room, room smelled boggy like the drains needed cleaning, no ventilation fan in bathroom, bathroom window diagonal crack and hole where knob should be - no way to easily open and shut, motel owners appeared to have not assimilated into community as they...

If you're looking for a cheap motel, you've got it. Hard beds, old linens, uncomfortable beds and rude staff make for a terrible visit to this establishment. The lack of hotels in the area lead us to this unfortunate choice. Not recommended and definitely will not revisit.

I assume that this place must survive on customers who can't find another place to stay or just don't want to look or to pay much. Very expensive for a very old smelly motel. It was sold out the night we stayed. I suggest that you look around a lot first if you are booking far in advance. It is...

We stayed in this motel one night for a rest during a hiking trip. We were able to check in a bit early and the owner was very friendly. Great price for the area and great location...Thornbury is adorable and you're close to Collingwood, Blue Mountain, Bruce trail, Beaver Valley...lots of options! The room was very clean, lots of hot...

Penny's Motel is a nice place to stay if you aren't interested in spending a lot of money. It is a budget motel and we found it to be very good value. The location for our bike rides was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the washroom was just renovated. There are a number of restaurants within easy walking...

Booked a single room through an online service for a weekend outing in Owen Sound. Music festival was on (not the event i was going to) so all closer properties were either sold out or had exorbitant rates. Room was smallish, comfortable and well-equipped. Bedding has seen many washers and dryers but was adequate. Room has electric heat (not on...
