Loved our one night in this gorgeous character filled hotel. Beautiful rooms, delightful decor, lots of personality and creature comforts. Lovely staff, great breakfast, charming town. One issue - the bathroom was not separate from the bedroom - so no privacy in the shower. This was a bit awkward for us as a twin share (not a couple). Would see...

Perfect place for spending your relax in the quiet atmosphere in an old medieval tower totally renovated with fine design touch. Mr Alfonso, the owner, is a gentleman and smart fellow. It's a Must along Camino de Santiago.

After the two pensions we had stayed in Roncevalles and Pamplona, this was a delight. The rooms are clean, comfortable, air conditioned and very quiet. The hosts were very welcoming and answered questions about Puente la Reina. We were walking the Camino on a very hot day, and we were greeted with glasses of lemonade -- excellent lemonade.

We spent one night and wish we could have spent more time. The hotel was clean and accommodating. The hotel was centrally located in this lovely town. The entire town smells like roasted sweet peppers due to it being the pepper harvest. We'll definitely be back!

For travellers who have walked from Pamplona on the Camino in the heat, the glass of homemade lemonade on arrival is just perfect. Finding that our bags had been brought up to our rooms was nearly better. Everything about El Cerco was excellent including the location which was far enough from the centre to be quiet but near enough for...

Our group stayed here while walking the Camino Francés and we really loved it. We were greeted by a warm friendly host with a tray of fresh lemonade. Just what we needed after a hot and dusty 26km walk! The place is small and the rooms are decorated in a traditional style, beautiful. There is a charming 'living room' on...

A very lovely stop on the Camino, charming hosts and a first class breakfast. Even a lift for the weary traveller. The location in the centre of town is great and the town map and recommendations are faultless. Very enjoyable! Thank you, I'd certainly like to stay again.

We arrived at Hotel El Cerco after a very hot and long day of walking and was so happy with the friendly welcome we received (which included ice cold lemonade). The location of the hotel is very good. The room was large and airy with very unique and beautiful decorations.

Visited at the end of day 4 of the Camino. Great hotel, great value and the staff are very friendly and helpful and they can speak English. Rooms are very nice with a private bathroom and a very big bed. Breakfast was 6Euro with cereal, break cheese and a selection of meats.

What a great find! Large quirky and interesting rooms. Comfortable bed. Had great experience early morning when we heard chanting and singing as men walked to the church along the laneway below our window. We were grateful the church bells didn't ring all night! A reasonable buffet breakfast. Would have liked to have spent more time that lovely little town.

Thank Joy W
