Chose this hotel because of its' isolated location up in the mountains, together with the fact that it was slap, bang, right in the middle of the island. We were not disappointed. Clean rooms, always a wide selection of good food, very helpful staff, and stunning, spectacular views!! Our ground floor room had no view because of bushes blocking the...

Spent the first 2 weeks of September here and, in general, had a great time. The hotel is extremely easy to find if driving from the airport and takes just over half an hour. There is literally nothing else around it, and that's what makes it so appealing. It's a quiet location surrounded by lush mountains with stunning views. Every...

Nothing wrong with this hotel at all. Ok, it's in the middle of an overhaul. The roof refurb is nearly done. The rooms are good sized, clean and with great views. Some better than others of course. Depends whether you are at back or front. You go there to sleep, eat and have a few drinks after a tiring day...

What this hotel lacks in up to date mod cons it more than exceeds in location! Stayed here half board as we hired a car to go sight seeing each day. Breakfast and dinner fine.variety could be alittle better, but all food was tasty enough. Rooms perfectly clean and respectable. Could do with a little modernization - but what do...

The hotel is located in a beautiful scenery. There are plenty opportunities for walking higher up in the hills. The rooms are a bit small, but the hotel is busy renovating most rooms. The buffet was quite good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wifi reasonably fast and free.

My eighth time at this superb place over about 5 years! Located at about 900+ metres, totally isolated, just you and the amazing mountains! Don't go if you need nightclubs, coffee shops (though they do a good coffee!) or shopping trips, this place's charm is the stunning scenery! The hotel has come under criticism for being tired, dated and a...

We stayed here in February, not the warmest or driest of months, so we were disappointed that hotel didn't think it necessary to put on heating or hot water in rooms when there were only few guests. The bedrooms are fine with firm mattresses. Luckily a heater is supplied in the room. We like a couple of pillows and these...

I was taken to the Encumeada Pass , and we stopped at the hotel for lunch . The views are breathtaking , the scenery amazing , and the choices for eating many and varied . As it was lunch we opted for the steak sandwich and wine . Both were excellent and extremely reasonably . the bill for two large...

My wife and I enjoyed a great week here. With a hired car, a great variety of superb walks can be made, even with the E110 closed at Encumeada pass. Food was delicious and in very generous portions. My wife doesn't eat meat, but had no problems with several fish or egg dishes to choose from. Staff were very helpful...
