The best that this resort has to offer - an impeccable sunrise view and stretch of beach for sunrise jogging. The huts are quite cozy, yet imho do not match the price asked. The service is blunt. The breakfast is not very diverse and overall not quite fulfilling. The restaurant is pricey. Overall - it's an ok midrange place to...

We stayed for four nights in May in a hill top room. The room was great, clean and the bed was comfy. The air conditioning in the room was just able to cope with the heat of May. The porch was awesome to relax on. We had breakfast each day at the restaurant, it was simple, but filling and tasty....

This was a lovely quiet beach, perfect for families as the sea is lovely and shallow and close to the sand, beautiful golden beach and clear sea, some fantastic gift shops and lovely beach front restaurants. The Menu's were in several languages making it easy to understand

This was supposed to be the relaxation highlight of the 2-week trip to Thailand with my wife and two children age 4 and 7. Although the small resort is charming and well maintained, the service leaves a lot to be desired for. Understanding English past 2-word combinations would for one thing solve a lot of issues and I strongly advise...

I travelled to Koh Yao Yai in April 2016. I stayed at This Son Beach Resort for three nights. The location of the resort is beautiful. I booked a top hill room and it was so private and relaxing... there are only four rooms on the hill and a huge pool to share. The bedroom is huge, the bed very...

The hilltop bungalows by the pool are the best this resort has to offer. I traveled during April and found the Bungalows near the beach to be quiet hot even with air conditioning as the floors are not sealed and the heat comes through. They also lack the basic Tea and Coffee making facilities most other hotel room have. Also...

We got booked 1 night in Standard cottage and couldn't stay even this one night there. It was without air condition and there was just a fan in bungalow. It was a lot warmer inside than outside. The bathroom was without any roof. In the room there was only 1 socket to plug in some electronics for charge. Breakfast from...

It was a good stay all in all. Friendly staff, and a very good restaurant. Both pools had great views, the rooms were really nice and considering where to you were, had good facilities. None of the TV channels worked on the Cable TV, though, and the WiFi was poor - but you're on an isolated island near enough in...

The hilltop bungalows are very nice! But we were really dissappointed with the transfer offered from the hotel from koh yao yai to phuket. That tourists have to pay a small extra is okay but that we really were ripped off by the hotel so much wasn't fair and nice and not what I would expect from a good host....

We were staying at the seafront deluxe bungalow with our son and my parents, and it was beautiful and relaxing. The bungalow had two bedrooms and one living room, with a huge terrasse and the sunrise in the morning was fantastic! The pool is small but very nice.

“If you have the budget, choose a bungalow on the hill. They are more private and the pool is not as crowded as the one by the main building.”
