Just three of us travelling so we took a triple room which was on the ground floor in the new house(the silver strand) We were set at our ease immediately in a very relaxed environment. Room was spotless and fresh, as for the bathroom I just don't how the Deery's got it so clean! One minor item, we thought the...

A warm welcome awaited myself and my two children for four nights of the fantastic Scoil Acla: a week of music, culture and arts on Achill Island. All our needs and requests were facilitated to the highest standard and with a smile at all times. Our cosy room was our base for 5days/4nights, the use of the kitchen was a...

Relaxing, clean, private, friendly and great food. Spent an overnight here while exploring the island and cannot say a bad word about the lodge. Not far from Keel where there are excellent restaurants and a gorgeous view!

A few minutes drive from keel beach Bernie and her family run a lovely lodge here. Me and my partner stayed here for a night back in May. Bernie and her husband couldn't of been any nicer, they were so accommodating to any of our wishes. The lodge was modern, very clean, quiet and a great price for a double...

First class accommodation. This was our second visit to the Achill Lodge. Very enjoyable and more than flexible and friendly place. Without leaving many boring details - the kids were already asking when we will go back.... A plan that is..we will be back! .

We were there for a very short time, but we found the owners very friendly and flexible. We needed to leave before 8am, and we got nice breakfast at 7am, no fry, but we didn't need a fry, something more continental. Very quiet, relaxing location, rooms and common area made with a very good taste.

My room was comfortable, well furnished and modern. The host family had a great welcome and encouraged me to treat the place like home. Breakfast was excellent with great choice and lovely home made bread. It was a beautiful weekend and we were able to sit outside at the various seating areas set out around the house.

We had a one night stay here and it was lovely. Bernie and her family are friendly and welcoming, our room was clean and comfortable, and the lovely breakfast was served in the dining room upstairs - the views are amazing! I would recommend this B & B.

We have stayed here a few times now and have never found a reason to fault it. Bernie & Hughie run a spotless establishment and are very friendly and approachable. Definitely our first choice for accommodation.

The Achill lodge is in Bunnacurry, we drove to the island, so everything we'd need would be a short drive to Keel. Being a weekend trip it served our purpose best. The room was huge with a tiny TV (nobody goes to this place with the intention of watching TV, so its cool). The bathroom was huge with a bath...
