I recently dropped guests to the Bervie in the early hours where i was met by John the owner who despite the unearthly hour wanted me to have a coffee before I hit the road for my journey home and although I declined the offer I was so impressed as most people would want to get to their bed as...

Wonderful guest house with 2nd generation owners who were so warm and welcoming! We arrived after a long day of driving to find hot tea and cakes waiting for us in our room. Our room had every comfort, including a gorgeous view of the gardens full of beautiful flowers with the sea as a backdrop. We had an amazing dinner...

As soon as I got out of the car, all I could hear was the sound of the waves crashing on the shore, the wind through the shrubs and birds in the hedgerows. Elizabeth, John and their staff give a great welcome and it felt very much like their home was our home too. Try the afternoon tea and evening...

The welcome was warm, the accommodation was comfortable, the food was delicious and the setting picturesque. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay but the price was a bit excessive. We had spent 3 weeks staying in B&Bs across Ireland which were equally as god and some better and this was the most expensive.

Our large group fo 20 were wonderfully accommodated at the Bervie. MAny stayed in the main building and I was with the group staying in the little house across the street. Our rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable with lovely views. The little house had 3 bedrooms a sitting room, kitchen and extra powder room. It was just perfect and right...

This was our 4th visit to the Bervie. This time we were lucky enough to stay 10 days. As always, it wasn't long enough. The Berive is my go to spot for relaxation, beautiful surroundings, and most of all, hospitality. The entire property is perfectly situated for taking full advantage of the beach, which is just steps away. The rooms...

Sometimes dreams do come true!! It's very hard to find the perfect place for a peaceful break from the hectic pace of our modern world. But when you experience Bervie you'll know that perfection is possible. The combination of its wild Atlantic views, good rooms outstanding food, but most of all, the best customer care this side of the Atlantic,...

This B&B used to be a cost guard station. It is directly on ocean, and has great views. The rooms are clean, and very comfortable! The food also was delicious. Owners Elizabeth and John Barrett were very accomindating.

The hospitality and warmth of Liz and John made this a very special occasion. The accommodation in an old coastguard station close to the Atlantic waters edge is charming and full of knick knacks collected over many years. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Food is excellent. Liz and John go the extra mile to the extent of lending us...

Achill is remote and quiet. Perfect for walkers who don't mind a little rain or someone needing some peace and quiet. Spent a weekend in the Bervie and it was a lovely experience start to finish. Used to going up and down to Achill on family holidays but escaped without children and the Bervie was the perfect place to stay....
